    'on her best days anna's an exciting woman. she's passionate, talented, she doesn't take shit from anybody. and with the people she loves, she is fiercely loyal. the fact that she's a bit crazy doesn't seem to put guys off her. so i guess the unpredictibility is some sort of plus with the guys she attracts. i don't know davey. i'm rambling. why don't you tell me what it was that attracted you to anna?'

    hanging out with beth wasn't jeff's idea of a great night. but it's what johnny wanted to do and for the sake of peace, he was willing to go along with whatever johnny wanted to do. it wasn't so much that beth was a problem. it was that jeff wanted johnny to himself and he wasn't all that thrilled that she and johnny had known each other since high school. he mentally chastised himself for what could be construed as an immature attitude. johnny laughed at something beth said. jeff hadn't heard what she said. and she got up to buy another round. johnny turned to jeff and rested his hand on his leg. leaning in closer and lightly brushing his lips acros jeff's cheek, he spoke.

    Besides Jeffrey you should learn to share like a good boy. Beth already walked to the door when Johnny grabbed Jeffrey's arm;"I want you to get along with her." Is that so hard for you? I understand that you felt a little out of place, but please try to participate in a conversation while in the cab. If you don't, I'll invite her in for tea.
