    as jeff again tried to touch johnny, johnny moved away.

    'what are you, deaf? i said don't touch me.'

    still jeff wouldn't let it go. as he reached out to johnny, johnny swung around and slapped him. johnny realised what he had done and that it was wrong, but he couldn't take it back.

    'god damn it jeff.'

    he left jeff in the kitchen. a couple of minutes later when he'd finished getting dressed, johnny left the apartment without a word to jeff.

    Jeffrey ran to the door when he heard it ring. He was expecting Johnny even though he wouldn't be back for another two hours. Jeffrey opened up the door only to find Richard standing there on his rollerblades.

    seeing richard exit his building gave johnny a pain in his gut. what the heck was going on with jeff that he would act this way? johnny stopped to make sure he didn't run into his rival. he watched richard until the older man had skated off down the street.
