But I only go home 2 weekends a month and holidays.
You only go home 2 weekends a month? Do you rent or have a mortgage? And what do you do for a living anyway? Not to be nosy, but I'm curious with that schedule.0 -

I think this is a good strategy for our environment.
Nice try hippie :-)
Sorry, you got to fight with the rest of us.0 -
It is sad really. We are fuckin' the world by a fuck-fold amount.
It is sad that I will only get to attend one local show also.Barrie 98, Toronto 00, 03, Montreal 03, Toronto 05, Kitchener 05, Toronto 06 (x2), Berkeley (EV), Toronto (EV)0 -
hey, at least you get to attend a show. For some of us, Ed is not coming any where near where we live, so if people like me really want to go to a show that bad, they will......................TRAVELfoxymophandler wrote:It is sad really. We are fuckin' the world by a fuck-fold amount.

If you are only going to one show for the sake of being green...why not take public transportation??
I did that for the 05 tour. I flew to Toronto...then bussed it to Kitchener, London, Hamilton and back to Toronto... then took a train to Montreal, Ottawa, and then back to NY!
It was quite easy! Not as green as sitting home... but I really love to travel... and really dig Pearl Jam.

In Buffalo i live in a house my father owns (where other friends live too) and I do not pay rent.
My company will pay for (or give me money to pay for) a rental down here in South Jersey. Plus I get my travel to and from home covered.
We are an environmental company and we are in a long-term project in South Jersey cleaning out radioactive material from the soil.
I was just using it as an example that some 'home cities' are complicated and would cause 10club horrible stress.0 -
And therein lies the real reason for the thread...not being green, but being disappointed at being shutout of a 2nd local show.foxymophandler wrote:It is sad that I will only get to attend one local show also. This weekend we rock Portland0 -

What kind of question is that? Yes, but not in an organized religious sense.Barrie 98, Toronto 00, 03, Montreal 03, Toronto 05, Kitchener 05, Toronto 06 (x2), Berkeley (EV), Toronto (EV)0 -

Whenever I see a suggestion about tickets to locals, I feel bad for Smokeabud in Alaska. He's been waiting for a show forever. What would his local show be?107 total First-Summerfest, Milwaukee '95

sometimes you have to suck it up and deal with it. They aren't going to play Antarctica or Middle East either. My suggestion for smokeabud in Alaska is to smoke a budBarrie 98, Toronto 00, 03, Montreal 03, Toronto 05, Kitchener 05, Toronto 06 (x2), Berkeley (EV), Toronto (EV)0
