Oh yea! I can PM you later this evening. It was a cover of Johnny Cash's version of the song, so it has a very countryish vibe, but is very well done, IMO.0 -

Yeah, I think this thread alone got me back into Lanegan. I'll be picking up a couple more of his releases this x-mas. I'd really like to hear those Trees tracks from the unfinished 98 album. However, that would probably require someone burning them to a disk and mailing it to me. 1,000,000 American dollars for the first person to do so...Idaho's Premier Outdoor Writer

Maybe, if I knew what I was doing. I tried hitting it with a rock, but that didn't seem to do anything. Also, all I have is my work computer and it doesn't have a burner.Idaho's Premier Outdoor Writer

Yea I saw this too. Sadly I think you're right about the Trees; however, it was great to see Mark say something nice about the Conners brothers. I don't think I've ever seen anything positive in print before coming from Lanegan when it came to the Trees.0 -
Fuck! I love how the percussion in the song sounds like someone banging on steam-erupting pipes. The song is maniacal. It makes me feel like I'm on meth.
Pure menacing chaos.
Rollin' just to keep on rollin'.

Field Songs“Life is life everywhere. Life is in ourselves and not outside us. There will be men beside me, and the important thing is to be a man among men and to remain a man always, whatever the misfortunes, not to despair and not to fall - that is the aim of life, that is its purpose.”
