Oh yea! I can PM you later this evening. It was a cover of Johnny Cash's version of the song, so it has a very countryish vibe, but is very well done, IMO.

Yeah, I think this thread alone got me back into Lanegan. I'll be picking up a couple more of his releases this x-mas. I'd really like to hear those Trees tracks from the unfinished 98 album. However, that would probably require someone burning them to a disk and mailing it to me. 1,000,000 American dollars for the first person to do so...

Maybe, if I knew what I was doing. I tried hitting it with a rock, but that didn't seem to do anything. Also, all I have is my work computer and it doesn't have a burner.

Yea I saw this too. Sadly I think you're right about the Trees; however, it was great to see Mark say something nice about the Conners brothers. I don't think I've ever seen anything positive in print before coming from Lanegan when it came to the Trees.

i say adorata... youve already got 2 solo albums there... check out his gutter twins stuff... and then his contributions to QOTSA... get a feel for his versatility IMO

field songs is great though... as is the winding sheet... his isobel cambell stuff took awhile to grow on me... its a lil sea shanty-ish
