    A band that comes to mind is Silverchair. I'm sure a fair number of people have heard of them, but they never get the praise they deserve. All 5 of their albums are phenomenal in their own way, and not one sounds like the other.

    Another band I did not see mentioned in the thread is Bela Fleck and The Flecktones. They are one of the most talented bands I've ever seen.
