    im loving the
    Bjork-Black
Muse - Brain Of J suggestions....

and to throw up a song for Tom Waits to do im gona suggest Sad....
    anyways:

    Bell X1 - You Are
Christy Moore - Man Of The Hour
Damien Rice - Once (acoustic start, then band later)
EXPLOSIONS IN THE SKY - Hail Hail (slowed down)
Feist - Go (in her simple, jingle-esque style)
The Jimmy Cake - Inside Job
Lisa Hannigan - All Or None
Me First & The Gimme Gimmes - Small Town (obviously fast & heavy)
    Mogwai - Garden
RATM - a heavy version of Bee Girl...or more realistically Breakerfall (with an intro like Wake Up)
System Of A Down - No Way
    Tori Amos - Aye Davanita
    U2 - Release.....and I Got Shit

I dunno, I don't really hear Bono tackling I Got Shit like Eddie. Release would be pretty good for U2 though. I think your Feist decision is funny. She'd have to change it so it's in a major key and all happy-go-lucky. Which would be hard to do to Go.

True. But imagine ...with just basic basenotes/chords and gentle singing, the way i heard it in my head it was nice anyway!!
No Bono wouldnt be able to do it like eddie...but then again most of the ones i picked wouldnt be designed to sound like eddie... but if there was a PJ tribute album i think people should bring some of their own slant on it...
    just my take on it.

I can't really say which songs they should do, but I think these bands could do a tribute.

    Kings of Leon
    The Strokes
    Wolfmother
    Seether
    The Tangents
    Jack Johnson
    Ben Harper
    My Morning Jacket
    Juliette & The Licks
    Saul Williams
    It's okay, It's okay
You don't have to run and hide away
    It's okay, it's okay
    I love you anyway
2007: Pearl Jam concert in Düsseldorf (21. June)
2007: Chris Cornell concert in Kristiansand (2. July)
2007: The Who concert in Kristiansand (4. July)

In Feist's version, when it played in my head, I heard finger-snapping. :) Bono could do I Got Shit well in his own way probably. I mean, U2 could probably cover an Eminem song their way and get away with it.

"So won't the real Paul Hewson please stand up? Please stand up. Please stand up..."
Smokey Robinson constantly looks like he's trying to act natural after being accused of farting.
