U2 - Release.....and I Got Shit
I dunno, I don't really hear Bono tackling I Got Shit like Eddie. Release would be pretty good for U2 though. I think your Feist decision is funny. She'd have to change it so it's in a major key and all happy-go-lucky. Which would be hard to do to Go.

True. But imagine ...with just basic basenotes/chords and gentle singing, the way i heard it in my head it was nice anyway!!
No Bono wouldnt be able to do it like eddie...but then again most of the ones i picked wouldnt be designed to sound like eddie... but if there was a PJ tribute album i think people should bring some of their own slant on it...
just my take on it.

In Feist's version, when it played in my head, I heard finger-snapping. Bono could do I Got Shit well in his own way probably. I mean, U2 could probably cover an Eminem song their way and get away with it.

"So won't the real Paul Hewson please stand up? Please stand up. Please stand up..."
Smokey Robinson constantly looks like he's trying to act natural after being accused of farting.
