That was pretty funny but you ruined it by the last line.'We're learning songs for baby Jesus' birthday. His mum and dad were Merry and Joseph. He had a bed made of clay and the three kings bought him Gold, Frankenstein and Merv as presents.'

The Vines are good, they are nothing like the rest of those bands you listedAlpine Valley 2000
Summerfest 2006
"Why would they come to our concert just to boo us?" -Lisa Simpson0 -
They fill the criteria of the type of band he was referencing, whether or not they are the same KIND of alt-rock wannabes.pjoasisrule wrote:The Vines are good, they are nothing like the rest of those bands you listed"I remember one night at Muzdalifa with nothing but the sky overhead, I lay awake amid sleeping Muslim brothers and I learned that pilgrims from every land — every colour, and class, and rank; high officials and the beggar alike — all snored in the same language"0 -
I think the White Stripes would kill Do the Evolution. My God I've got wood now just thinking about it.0

I like some of the bands suggested on here, the Rage cover of DTE would be amazing and would fit so well, Id like to hear Muse put their own spin on Nothing as it SeemsPJ at MSG in 2008! Mission Accomplished
The band all knows. We're too afraid to mention.
Don't want to be part of Frank's luncheon.

i think theres a few songs that pretty obviously fit with each artist, but i dont feel like narrowing them down to one"Ah, life is a gate, a way, a path to Paradise anyway, why not live for fun and joy and love or some sort of girl by a fireside, why not go to your desire and LAUGH..."0 -
Oh i forgot about the national... maybe nothing as it seems or of the girl?Charlotte 00 | Charlotte 03 | Asheville 04 | Atlanta 12 | Greenville 16 | Columbia 16 |Seattle 18 | Nashville 22 | Ohana Festival 24 x2 | Atlanta 25 x20

both sound good to me, and i'd love to hear them play otherside"Ah, life is a gate, a way, a path to Paradise anyway, why not live for fun and joy and love or some sort of girl by a fireside, why not go to your desire and LAUGH..."0 -
