best drummer in the world?

Glad to see Phil Collins getting some respect...the man is a very talented musician...I agree also with Neil Peart, Matt Cameron, Danny Carey...I did not see the Police on tour, but I've always really liked Stewart Copeland...I appreciate drummers that are distinctive and easily identifiable...
btw, have any of you guys seen Buddy Rich play? Check out some of his stuff on youtube, it's pretty awesome..."I'll ride the wave where it takes me"0 -
I've always loved Sean Kinney as a drummer too.0

Phil Selway Radiohead
Trent Reznor/his live drummer (that takes a lot of work) Nine Inch Nails
Jose Pasillas Incubus
Jeremiah Green Modest Mouse
Ágúst Ævar Gunnarsson Sigur Rós
But to be honest... they're not even close to a "best" drummer... so
Neil Peart.If I could, think I would give in.0 -
These topics are so pointless for music......EVERYONE HAS DIFFERENT STYLES.
There is no greatest now or ever.
My favorite though is Barrett (Screaming Tree's) and Danny Carey (Tool).0 -
Joey Castillo is up there with many of the previously mentioned. Can not be arsed with life no more.0
