I never understand why people post in threads about bands they don't like. Just don't click on the thread.
Anyway, I really like Incubus, and Light Grenades is a solid album. I am undecided as to which my favourite album is, possibly Morning View, possibly ACLOTM.~AKA Dave-of-the-dead~

I have the same opinion. I first downloaded the album and I thought it was average. But now I bought the cd and love it0 -

It's the first album of theirs I've listened to properly and I didn't expect to like it half as much as I do!uʍop ǝpısdn ǝɹ,ǝʍ 'punoɹ ʎɐʍ ɹǝɥʇo ǝɥʇ ןןɐ s,ʇı0 -
Dude... Stellar's lyrics are fucking amazing... when I heard it over and over on MTV... I was just like, this song is really gay.. but when I had gotten the album, listened to it non-stop, then later looked at the lyrics... holy fuck. Those lyrics are awesome as shit.
And about their songs being "radio-friendly"... I'm not even sure about that one... because honestly, after Morning View... it seems as if no one really cared for Incubus anymore... which I really don't care because they are my favorite band... like with this new CD, you don't really hear anyone talking about them... of course at the concerts you realize they picked up some new listeners......... but other than that, it's like Incubus definitely dropped off the radar, which I don't really mind, even if the band was as popular as they were when Drive was out, I wouldn't care... just because they're popular doesn't mean shit, they still have absolutely amazing music, talent, lyrics, band members, whatev. If I could, think I would give in.0 -

I agree...it's almost like PJ after Vitalogy. No one really talks of them too much anymore. Is it so wrong to think that love can keep us safe?0 -

Tis true, on a much smaller scale, they have a solid fan base to keep them going and hopefully experimenting, while Oasis continues with their lame formulaic rip off material. Can not be arsed with life no more.0 -

I'm a fan of both bands, but in the long run, incubus can only dream of writing songs as good as oasis0 -

i like both bands, but dude, lets face it, oasis' IS a beatles knock off, so i don't give them much credit for that. also, the vocals are pretty weak. listen to ryan adams' wonderwall, then to oasis' version. ryan adams sweeps up with them on their OWN song. i did enjoy their last album, but to say they write catchier tunes, i don't think so, anna molly was a pretty catchy tune. i do listen to both, so this little debate really means nothing to me. in fact, i don't know why i wasted my time responding.I died. I died and you just stood there. I died and you watched. I died and you walked by and said no. I'm dead.0 -
Just the song title... Anna Molly... anomaly... seriously, that's more witty than anything Oasis has ever done. Haha.If I could, think I would give in.0

Anyone who says Incubus are untalented... Listen to any live version of Sick Sad Little World. Very prog rock and epic. And unquestionably well-written. This band has one of the best guitarists, bassists and drummers in music today. Anyone who says that they suck and to even dare compare them to Nickelback or Creed is, quite frankly, an idiot. Incubus are a million miles away from most rock bands and do you know why? They have TALENT. They can write simple pop songs sure, as can Pearl Jam, but they can also create multi-layered epics, which some of the most mind-blowing soundscapes you'll hear from a mainstream rock record. Seriously, this thread has pissed me off.0

Incubus is a really great band all their albums are at least good but mostly amazing.
The more I listen to Light Grenades the better it sounds although I am sure it won't be my favourite one of theirs but still pretty good...my favs are MAKE YOURSELF and A CROW LEFT OF THE MURDER!!!
