    The site's getting pounded like a drunk cheerleader in a frathouse right now - 1500 hits in the past 30 minutes alone, but it's still up.

    There's nobody anywhere else (besides the band/label,etc) that has these songs, so there's an understandable crunch happening. Be patient, we're workin' on it.

    It doesn't really matter how good the songs are there will be people who will automatically hate them just because they don't like Axl.

    New conclusion: I'd actually take Libertad over this. And Libertad didn't even have any songs on it.

    I liked Libertad, it was much better than Contraband IMO.

    Nah, in my opinion, Libertad is just a wash of mediocrity. Contraband is much the same for the first half, with a pretty strong run from Set Me Free through to Loving The Alien.

    I love Gnr and I listened a couple of new songs and I like it.I think chinese democracy will be a good album

    THe new song #1 is Rhiad and the Bedouins and that isn't going to be on Chinese Democracy so I'm wondering where these came from. I like the other two new songs, very different from old Guns.

    Is Better co-performed by Linkin Park? the intro sounds very much like it.


    Quite a few of these songs sound like they should of been released say 12 years ago, sound very dated not saying there not good the others sound like they are polished to sound more modern and in fitting with recent styles blended in, Madagascar sounds almost like it has a bit of a Portishead sound going on spliced with a rock overture (ok its just gone mental with lots of samples been thrown in not digging this one), I'm liking them dont get me wrong but this record is going to be pulled apart, its got 14 years of criticism heading its way.

    New song 2, another with the Linkin Park effect.

    New song 3, another taking the ambient trip hop, of the likes of Portishead, sSneaker Pimps, Massive Attack mixed with a bit of rock guitar and axls vocals, (Massive Attack and co were doing this back in the late 90's check out the album Mezzanine a classic) I'm not hearing nothing new or ground breaking I would say to anyone saying such to broaden their musical horizons.

    I've always been a huge GNR fan but I really hope that these 9 leaked tracks are supposed to be b-sides that were cut from the new album. Aside from "Better", these songs sound pretty weak, for GNR anyway.

    You're very welcome. We've gotten some lawsuit threats from the GNR camp (hence the update) but they won't amount to anything I'm sure. And like you said, at least the songs are out in the world now.
    That's what matters.

    Its a good thing the songs fell into the hands of someone good. Back when people had other leaks all they did was hoard them.

    How long did you have these songs before you released them?
