    Sepultura - Beneath the Remains . . . the whole fucking album.

    Be it metal, thrash, or hardcore, I don't think you can have this conversation without mentioning Sepultura. Too much of what I hear today that is "heavy" and "new" sounds like this - and it's amost 20 years old.
