I fucking like Rocketman. I heard that today on the radio. Fuckin' awesome song. I don't care if he's gay.

But I doubt the line: "I miss my wife"

    Just wondering what his being gay has to do with whether or not he's an artist worth liking...?

    I'll bet you listen to plenty of musicians and watch plenty of actors and athletes that are gay...do you feel the need to defend that too? It's OK man, it doesn't MAKE YOU gay.

    His first few albums up to "Goodbye Yellow Brick Road" are awesome. After that, forget it. I do think that "Sweet Painted Lady" is one of the prettiest songs ever written for a hooker. My dad's favorite song is "Where To Now St. Peter". They actually played the entire "Tumbleweed Connection" album on the radio the other day. I think it was some sort of "Top 100 albums of all time" marathon. It's interesting that "Tubleweed" was one of the chosen, considering that it has no big hits on it! Some of his later songs are good...especially "I'm Still Standing" and "I Guess That's Why They Call It The Blues". Love those backing vocals!

    Rob Halford of Judas Priest, and Freddie Mercury are also gay. And they're both badass. It's not as much that people make fun of Elton John for being gay, but for the type of music, but that's at least what I make of it. For if you make fun of someone for listening to a homosexual artist, then that's pathetic, considering Judas Priest, Queen, and all country artists like Keith Urban, Rascall Flatts, & Kenny Chesney would be in that category.
