I'm surprised that after 13 years ppl still wanna listen to Axl Rose play with a bunch of hacks on a new album...what's wrong with Velvet Revolver?!

    Velvet Revolver is good.
But people also want to know what Axl did the last 13 years. Is/Isn't it a good album? People want to know that. And it's a little bit hyped by the media.

The album will be released April 24. This is mentioned by the management of GNR to some newspapers!

    translation?? ;)
april 24 seems a little quick tho..but if the management mentioned it ud think that they wouldve published it on billboard or something?
I've seen so many people try and copy Eddie Vedder's voice. It's as if if you don't sound like him you're not a man. - Emmett Roslan

I can't translate that. I'm not a hungarian. But I get this from some GNR forums were some hugarian post this.

"Lászlo Hegedus the head of Multimedia Concerts ltd. announces that GNR is coming to Hungary in may 31.He adds that on the 24th of April the band will release the new album which info is based on sources from the management."

Anyone else thinks that these demos sound way better than Velvet's Contraband? Although I also liked that one.

Which of these demos will be on the new album, any news about that?

In my opinion, these demos are waaaaay better than anything from contraband which to me sounded like a mixture of AFD and Purple (which by themselves are awesome albums).....but i'll try to keep this thread from turning into a VR vs. GNR thread...

I hope at least these songs will be on Chinese Democracy and i'll be sad if any are left off haha

    Better
    There Was A Time
    The Blues
    Madagascar
    Catcher in the Rye
    I.R.S.
    Chinese Democracy

I'm a huge GNR fan from back in the day, saw them a bunch of times but VR just doesn't do it for me. I saw them twice in concert, it was great to see Slash, Duff and Matt again but until they did the GNR and STP tunes I was kinda bored. I haven't listened to Contraband in a long time and have no desire to listen to it again, other than one or two songs I think they are really weak. Slash's Snakepit had better tunes than Contraband.
