 Considering he's from the Screaming Trees and they are well known around here you shouldn't be too surprised. They were a part of that Seattle explosion in some way after all and naturally draw fans of that sound. He's got a great voice but I only have Sweet Oblivion so far.Pearl Jam Album Rankings

 I realize number 6 is cheating, but that's just too bad.
 It's hard to make a list of all-time favorites, so mine is a combination of long-time loves I may not listen to so frequently (Pearl Jam, Neil, PJ Harvey, Tori Amos) and more recent obsessions (Ryan Adams and the Uncle Tupelo combinations).
 Five years ago I would have certainly named Alice in Chains and Soundgarden, but I just barely consider myself a fan nowadays. Who knows what I might feel this time next year.0
