Wow... I don't even like Oasis... but I have to say this album is very very very good.

    i just heard Falling Down and i think it's excellent

    i hope the rest of the album is that good.

    i'm really looking forward to it.. heard some youtube clips and stuff on their website and it sounds really good :)
    oh scary... 40000 morbidly obese christians wearing fanny packs invading europe is probably the least scariest thing since I watched an edited version of The Care Bears movie in an extremely brightly lit cinema.

    I'm loving it. I don't think this will be winning back fans in the US who are waiting for Wonderwall 2.0, but I personally love it after 1 listen.

    The version I downloaded seems kind of quiet. Is there a higher quality version out there?

    To me it doesn't matter whether it's Dig Out Your Soul or Dig Out Your A$s, Oasis are still one of the best rock and roll bands out there who actually appreciate real rock. You guys have got to be kidding me if you hate Oasis. That's a travesty.

    Fantastic album. I loved DBTT but I really think this is the best thing I have heard from them in a very long time.

    Dig Out Your Soul is incredible! Their most ass-kickin' and rockin' album they've made thus far.

    "To Be Where There's Life" is probably the track I don't really like. The rest of tracks are solid.

    A non-fan would enjoy this album. I'm an abandoned fan, I guess. ;)

    I have a hard time believing is the most ass kickin, rockin album. It may be impossible to make anything as good as Definitely Maybe and Morning Glory again. I still have yet to listen to the record. I just got the new Coldplay the other day and have been just listening to that basically.

    This is a pure rock album...not pop-rock, not Brit pop-rock either. Just plain ass-kickin rock record.

    Not as good as Definitely Maybe but better than Morning Glory though in my opinion.

    Just as long as it is better than DBTT. For awhile it was basically every Oasis record being worse than the one before it (which is still better than most bands best but not as good as they should be) and that trend really needs to change.

    Other than Falling Down and I'm Outta Time this album completely blows. It sounds like a bad parody of 60's psychedelia. I own every Oasis album and have seen them 3 times so I'm not just some hater of the band.

    well, I have hated everything they've done the last 10 years and yet I really like this album.

    I guess it's the great for non-Oasis or casual fans.

    I don't have have DBTT or SOTSG so I can't compare it to their recent works. Heathen Chemistry sucked, and this new album is much better!

    Just getting my first listen this morning and I too think this is a big comeback for them....sounds damn good to me. I personally loved Be Here Now and this album, based on one listen, is by far their best since.

    Did anyone else notice the uncanny resemblance of the opening of "Waiting for the Rapture" to the Doors "Five to One?" Don't care, just pointing that out, because both songs fuckin' rock.

    First Metallica and now Oasis....it's a good year for comebacks!
