Scott Weiland on his solo album tour. I think it was 1998 or something. He came out in a tutu and was just the worst thing I have ever seen and or heard.
There was this other artist, not sure on the name. She opened up for System of a Down and Incubus. Sounded like Yoko Ono on speed!Let's Go Red Sox!0 -
My worst would have to be Jimmy Eat World. They weren't particularly bad on stage, it was just really generic and they had no passion or emotion that night so the crowd didn't really get involved. It was a festival type event that they headlined, but had the misfortune of playing after Our Lady Peace. OLP put on an amazing show, given the limited time on stage and that could be affecting my memory of Jimmy Eat World as well.0

If any of you have been to the Pearl Street Mall in boulder, Colorado, USA, you'd know there are some truly shit performers. My (least favorite) was a hippie with a drum. tis was his song:
(Hit drum 3 times) Can you spare a doolllaaarr?
(Hit drum 3 times) do you have some chaaaannge?
(Hit drum 3 times) Can you spare a doolllaaarr?
(Hit drum 3 times) Sir, Can you spare a doolllaaarr? If not, god bless you anyway (hit drum twice.)
It was shit-tastic.0 -

reversedarwinism wrote:I saw them in Amarillo, TX and they really nailed every song. They didn't even let the fact that they were getting cigarrete buts thrown on them shorten the show. Not one of my favortie bands, but they were good. What was bad was the crowd. Mostly full of young kids (prob because of their christian reputation) with some regular Amarillo trash throwing things (every show i've been to in Rillo). People tried to crowd surf and got dropped. lol.Post edited by PJPOWER on0

The worst concert I've ever attended and experienced would have to be the Stanford Prison Experiment. They opened for RATM in 1996, and they were utter shit. Halfway through their set, people were booing and throwing shit. Turned out to not be a good idea b/c Rage came out an hour and a half after the band left the stage, played 40 minutes, and then left. It was against SPE though b/c the venue was packed with temperatures reaching 95 degrees.
Other notables:
Soundgarden (Great band, but absolutely horrible live)
Smashing Pumpkins (During the MCIS tour. Billy was in a shitty mood, and the venue sucked. Made for a bad night. They made up for it in Asheville. A 10X better show)
Sleater-Kinney (just awful)
Death Cab (thank God for the 45 minute piss break they offered)We are the facilitators of our own creative evolution.--Bill Hicks0 -

I've never had a bad experience seeing MM. I've seen him 3 times and every time has been amazing. You must have just caught him on a bad night.“May you live to be 100 and may the last voice you hear be mine.” - Frank Sinatra0 -
TheGossman wrote:without a doubt Tool, I am better off going to a wax museum next time, cause they are zombies on stage, no movement at all, and you can barely see the stage cause its so dark for the entire performance, there were people sleeping in my section, and not to mention every song I didn't know sounded the same, people say they are up their with PJ as far as live shows go but I just don't see how, but they did make 2 great albums. They sound EXACTLY like they do on CD which makes it an even more boring experience! Very talented band, but they just bore me!
Jesus Christ!! How could you possibly say that Tool's show is boring??? The visual effects that are going on alone are worth the price to go see them. They have something like 6 screens going with insane videos and graphics, lasers, smoke, fire etc! I'm sorry but these guys act is top notch and if you can't be entertained by them then you are lost my friend.“May you live to be 100 and may the last voice you hear be mine.” - Frank Sinatra0 -

Granted the singing was pretty irritating at times but the music was really cool. The drummer and the guitarist were fun to watch too. Not fantastic or anything but far from the worst I've seen.

The Feds (saw them open for the Burden Brothers last weekend and the Toadies a few months ago). Along the lines of Rose Hill drive. I respect what these bands do, but the emo wanna be punk screaming is obnoxious. sorry.PJ: 10/14/00 06/09/03 10/4/09 11/15/13 11/16/13 10/08/14

Wednesday 13 - I had the misfortune of arriving at the venue too early (I bought the tix solely for the headliner only - the 69 Eyes - who absolutely ROCK). Wednesday 13 was the direct support, and I don't think I've ever witnessed such a crap performance. The songs themselves were terrible, a shitty homage to the Misfits, if the Misfits were to play cruddy blues-based horror punk. To top it off, the band members overemphasized showmanship to the point where they were screwing up their crappy music (ex: the drummer would twirl and wave his sticks around enough to disrupt the basic 4/4 beat he was supposed to be playing).0
