I'm too poor to go to all the shows I would have liked... That said, I did manage to do:

June 21 in Belleville, ON - The Tragically Hip with Attack in Black, Sarah Harmer, and Sam Roberts

August 10 in Montreal - Eddie Vedder with Liam Finn

October 4 in Toronto - Liam Finn with The Veils

November 7 in Toronto - Kings of Leon with The Whigs and We Are Scientists

Plus a few other local musicians. I didn't go to many shows, but I'm hard pressed to choose a favourite - they were all equally good in their own way! :D

This was my big year for shows, hope to continue it in the next. I'll attempt it in order, and I'm afraid I'll leave out some good lesser known bands but I'll try to remember.

    Four Finger Five
    Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers
    EV x2 [Boston]
    Broken Social Scene
    Liam Finn [Chicago]
My Morning Jacket [Detroit and Chicago later this year]
    Donna the Buffalo

I feel like I'm missing much more, especially something big, but I can't think right now.

You've seen all the bands I wanted to see Amplifier, Monster Magnet, and Oceansize are three. I wish I was in your shoes. Nebula - that was once my favourite band. Glad to see they are doing the rounds.

Most of these bands don't ever come to London so they are missed. Had seen Brand Bjork at the Pi-Town feat. He was incredible.
