I think 'In Hiding' is most definitely about tripping and the enlightened feeling some are able to experience with it. After my own experiences, I can identify with many of the lines of that song, especially the part about things seeming so simple now. A lot that was always harder for me before just became so clear and easier to figure outIf you want to tell people the truth, make them laugh, otherwise they'll kill you.
Man is least himself when he talks in his own person. Give him a mask, and he will tell you the truth.
