If you mean me, I've been to NZ twice. Once in 94 and two summers ago. Great place you have there. Luckily, I have NZ citizenship, so when things get militant and Big-Broitherish here, I'll be able to come to a safe place.
  • This is a shout out to all mt NZ fans. Are you pumped or what? I'm gonna be mailing the rock constantly with requests for Worldwide Suicide. Screw U2 and Korn. Bring on Pearl Jam!!!!!!

At my last count (as at song 164), this is the top 10:
    20 U2
    16 Metallica
    16 Pearl Jam
    15 Aerosmith
    15 The Feelers
    15 The Offspring
    13 AC/DC
    13 Red Hot Chili Peppers
    12 Shihad
    11 Foo Fighters
    11 Led Zeppelin
    11 Pink Floyd

I actually emailed Tracey on The Rock to let her know about the news from the website. I'm sure I wasn't the only one... :D

your not wrong about that, it seems every second song is either AC/DC or Metallica and there is far too much nickelback

I say we boycott the rock UNLESS they give Pearl Jam a decent plug in the next year. If if they don't get a decent plus anybody keen on starting a competing rock station. One that hasn't been sucked in by mainstreem rock?

Funny you should say that, me and a workmate were talking about how much the rock 1000 is suxing, and we came up with the same idea.
I was going through there list and there is no Ramones or Neil Young, its a very sad world we live in.

This is so fucking typical of rock listeners. Everyone votes for U2 just cause the a playing some overhyped gig. Plus the typical Metallica bogan majority (also i can imagine that a large portion of the metallica votes will be by 15 year old males that have just discovered rock music. "Bro I love that Enter Sandman song"). But good to see Pearl Jam still up there. They somehow manage to pull through :D.

The DJs that are usually sweet about Pearl Jam are Tracey and Bryce. Don't bother email Nick, Rog, Robert or Jono. They couldn't give a fuck about Pearl Jam. Specially Nick and Rog. They are still hooked on the 80s hair bands. Plus Rog always fucks up the song names. "Feeling Alive", "The Even Flow", "The Betterman". I don;t have anything against them and some of the stuff they can be quite funny but the have a grudge against Pearl Jam fans which I'm not happy with. Come on give us a break. Just casue we are more dedicated that some other fans.

Bazz last year i voted for all pearl jam songs. but most of them didnt even make the list. im not talking stuff like Of The Girl or Help Help. The big fan favs like Do The Evolution and Yellow Ledbetter. So this year i thought wat the point and voting for songs that arnt even gonna make the list so i voted for all the big pearl jam ones just so we can see them up there.

    Pearl Jam double shot! :)
I've actually been pleasantly surprised with some of the PJ songs that made it so far. I was expecting even worse!
