    Anyone want to bombard the Rock with Pearl Jam related news/info?
    Anytime they say something about PJ it's usually a week old and as inaccurate as hell.

    Dude, get over it! I'm as big a Pearl Jam fan as anyone I know and I just learnt to live with it. It's commercial radio, they play what pays. When PJ is mainstream and profitable again, they'll start promoting them. U2 are playing to hugely hyped gigs, so it's only natural that they are being talked up on the radio.

    Anyway. I think you may be pleasantly surprised when the new single and album come out. I know at least Tracey is a fan. Next year, we should get the folks on here voting for the Rock 1000. They are so over the top, we'd get PJ filling all the slots in the Top 10! Sweet! :D

    Not yet. I don't want to listen to some crappy radio rip. I can wait until tomorrow, but as soon as it hits 9pm (if my timezone conversion is correct) I'll be on that site downaloding it ASAP!

    I thought it was Thursday, March 9 at 1200am for us, but i always tend to get these conversions wrong

    Yeah I agree Bazz. I'm not listening to some crappy rip. Yeah and the time zone conversion is wrong. I worked out it's 6am eastern time in the US so it's midnite here (going from wednesday to thursday). Oh yeah and as for getting all the people here to vote for rock 1000 would be sweet if they did but people just say stuff like "who cares" and "just get over it" etc. But it should be a vote for change. But man imagine how many votes Pearl Jam would get if there was a few from here.

    I thought it was midnight pacific time (i.e. Seattle) that it was available, and then I thought it was the 7th so that would've made it late tomorrow, but I see now that it says on the website 6am EST on the 8th (it's the news that's coming on the 7th, right?), so yeah, midnight early Thursday for us. I probably won't even download it until I'm at work the next morning. I am on super slow dial up at home... Ah, who am I kidding? I'll be there hopfeully listening to it by 12.30!

    Ive just noticed on my google homepage, under the pearl jam section it says Pearl Jam announces Leg One of worldwide tour, when i click on it, it takes me to latest news on their website about the free download, it cant be long before they put up tour dates

    The annoying thing is that they have been hyping it up in their news segemnts and yet I havn't hear it apart from the 1st time.

    I usually dont, I only listen for the rock 1000, I mainly listen to my local radio station, they play a mixture of everytype of music, they played mother love bone a couple weeks back.
