This thread is fucking kick-ass! Big thanks to all who've contributed thus far :)

I was also curious: Do any of you have a boot of Soundgarden's "Louder Than Live" tour? Or do you know of link floating around for it somewhere? I'd really love to hear it.

  • yeah anymore good bootlegs with Hands All Over in them.
By the way huge thanks to Marie Curie, if it hasnt been said enough, to post all these shows is very generous particularly because its soundgarden and its rare to get an insight into the live shows of such an iconic band.

you mean Louder than Love tour? I´m confused

i´m downloading that "Louder than Live" home video that was released in 1990 right now

  • taking the dust off this thread for a very special SG boot, excellent sound quality and a setlist full of rarities!

    September 16, 1996
    Barrowlands
    Glasgow, Scotland, UK

    Setlist:
    Let Me Drown
    Pretty Noose
    Burden In My Hand
    Head Down
    My Wave
    Ty Cobb
    Never Named
    Helter Skelter
    Boot Camp/(extended outro)
    Fell on Black Days
    Rusty Cage
    Black Hole Sun
Waiting For the Sun [The Doors]
    Rhinosaur
    Mailman
    Drawing Flies
    Blow Up the Outside World
    Drop Out Boogie [Captain Beefheart]
    Full on Kevin's Mom

    Time: 81:21
    Quality: 8.5/10 (A)

Notes: The recording is incomplete, missing at least the first two songs (most likely "Spoonman" and "Searching With My Good Eye Closed", but given this setlist, who knows?) and possibly another encore song. First show of the European leg of the Down On The Upside tour. Best setlist ever! They serve out many songs that were seldom performed on the Down On The Upside tour such as "Never Named", "Head Down", "Waiting For The Sun", "Mailman", "Drawing Flies", and "Drop out Boogie" (one of only two known performances), as well as "Full On Kevin's Mom", performed for the first time since 1990. A fantastic performance, amazing setlist, and excellent sound make this one of the best Soundgarden bootlegs in existance.

  • I'm not sure if these have been posted yet, but I checked and didn't see them. Anyway, I uploaded the two soundtracks from "Louder than Live" and "Motorvision" the two offficial "bootleg" VHS 'Garden released.

    Motorvision

    Louder Than Live

I hope everybody enjoys them. The closer on "Motorvision" is awesome. Slaves & Bulldozers with a short medley of Pearl Jam's "Alive" and The Doobie Brothers' "Jesus Is Just Alright."

You have them on video? Nice. I have them on DVD from a seller on eBay, which is still pretty cool, but sometimes I like to listen to the shows in the car.

not the VHS, I have the DVD transfers. You shouldn´t have paid for them on eBay, you could have got those DVDs for free.

Oh well. They were like $10 for both, so I didn't break the bank or anything. The $10 is worth it just to see Cornell in duct-tape shorts whenever I want.

I'm guessing everybody has Cornell's unplugged session by now?

that´s ok then, $10 is not much.

Nah, I have it, I was just making sure everybody had it. Definitely lookin' forward to his second solo album. I thought "Billie Jean" cover was terrific.
