You're both wrong. Era V. is hands-down the best album this year. Icky Thump is second, I guess.0

This whole album rocks! I especially am liking Rag and BOne and Conquest right now. The only song that I haven't gotten into is St. Andrew. I listen to it but it's just odd. Does anyone else think 300 M.P.H. sounds a little Bob Dylanish? Dylan and White are good friends. Wish I could go seem them again this year. They put on a show that rivals any band.0

Era Vulgaris is good
not great
several songs there are sounding kinda like STP.
I don't understand the love for Explosions in the Sky
my garage band can play ambient weave instrumentals like this all day.
Boring as fucking shit... not brilliant...not genius...just fucking elevator music
oh ....maybe I'm supposed to be stoned or trippin to get itthe Minions0 -
I'm buying it tomorrow. Sounds like most of you enjoy it.I can kill because in God I trust.

Each day, I have a new favorite song off this album.
Yesterday, it was "Effect & Cause". Today, it's "Little Cream Soda".If you're headed to the grave,
you don't blame the hearse.

The Pen Is Mightier wrote:I think this album will eventually be my favorite of theirs. I absolutley love "You dont know what love is". The part where he sings "I'm going to lay right into you" and plays a nice little riff always gets me. Love that tune, and would think it has the greatest chance at being their next single.

Honestly I don't care for Rag and Bone, but the rest are gold. Catch Hell Blus and 300 mph torrent are pretty much tied for #1 atm.0 -
Wish they'd play some more U.S. dates.....0
