New Album "Vacillate" Available Exclusively At Target 6/2/09

edited June 2009 in The Porch
A co-worker of mine informed me that his sister, who is a operations manager for Macy's(which owns Target), told him that the album will be on the shelves tomorrow exclusively at Target and that the announcement will come tonight on The Late Show. The album title supposively came from some store log that she handles. Sorry if the info is vague, it's just been what I have been told. I can't see this happening without any prior notice from the 10C. Has anyone else heard anything like this?

What the hell does "Vacillate" even mean

I bet if I put a thread out that said "New Pearl Jam album "Wanda's Wild Hayride" out tomorrow"...that it would get locked too

I can tell you right now that that thread is nothing but a lie.

    Target NEVER owned Macy's.

Not true. Macy's bought Marshall-Fields (which used to be known as Dayton's) and they own Target.

The company now known as Target started as Dayton Hudson. The Target chain got started in the 60's. and by the mid to late 90's the company changed their corporate name from Dayton Hudson to Target.

At some point they also purchased the Marshall Fields name. Then within the last couple years Target SOLD OFF the Marshall Fields chain, which was then purchased by Macy's

I admit the thread closings are strange. If someone posts a link to a leaked mp3, sure.. close/delete the thread. But what's wrong with a little PJ hysteria? Heaven forbid fans of the band be given an opportunity to freak out/get excited over the prospect of new music from their favorite group.

I have a cousin's wife's best friend's sister who works for GE who owns NBC who runs the Conan O'Brien show who told my co-worker who told me that DAVE A will be on the skins tonite.

AND...the new album drops tomorrow. It's called GUACAMOLE Episode II: The Avacado Strikes Back. The album will be sold on 8-track tapes exclusively at Exxon Mobil gas stations. Yes, PJ's upcoming tour will be sponsored by Exxon-Mobil, and will be called the "Drill Baby Drill" tour.

Oh, wow, good luck. I've been prepping for about a month now and am scheduled to take it at the end of the summer. Learning new vocabulary words is such a pain in the ass. I should probably have used a GRE word instead of pain in the ass, but pain in the ass will have to do.

Well.. I'm sitting in the library right now and I'm supposed to be studying.. but obviously that isn't going so well. (thanks kids!)

over_bends: I know exactly how you feel.. for me, the vocab isn't so bad, but the math/reasoning is killing me. I can't even tell you the last time I tried to do stuff like this without a calculator!! Best of luck to you as well! I'm hoping I don't have to retake it... but I'm not feeling especially confident with less than 48 hours to go here...
