And some talk too much in public aka the board.

Another thought who is more important and gets things done, the president or the mayor?
    lol

My sentiments exactly, Patrick. It's a shame the ignore function isn't working yet, otherwise I would put it to good use.

You should check out this thread again, with attention to points 1, 3, 4, 7, 11, 13 and 14, with particular attention to 13, which I've conveniently quoted Kat here:

Try thinking of the bbs as if you were at a show. If the people next to you are fighting, it interferes with your enjoyment of the show.

Personally, I am going to (continually) remind myself of number 8. Please stop poisoning the atmosphere and the good will hrd2imgn has created with this thread and stay on topic.

$500+ sure pushes the rich people upfront...tho surely a worthy cause

i feel for the dudes in 2nd&3rd place...good dudes as well...just not rich...

    wish i was rich

    damn
It's called priorities - and some of the people on this board I would imagine have Pearl Jam as #1. I don't understand people talking about the "rich people" like they're sinners for being successful in life - success isn't easy, and as a generalization, people work their asses off to obtain it.
Good job h2i, if Eddie comes to Massey Hall again, or seniority is voided, I will be doing this with my extra ticket every time. I'd do it right now anyways, but something tells me not too many people care about an auction for a 357xxx extra
Also, I tried to drop you a PM about something unrelated to this, but it's stuck in my outbox - is there another way we could correspond, I have a question I'd like to ask you when you've got a chance.
    Thanks!

This is very cool and so glad it's going for a good cause! Can't wait to see everyone there. :)

anyone who complains about someone donating money to a charity is a*********** (insert your own adjective). If someone has the money and is willing to spend it what is bad about that? If you are broke are you any less off than you were before? You still would not have a ticket, but at least you had a chance this way. The market determines things in the US

    Ben I just responded

peace see you all there I hope

I think this was such a wonderful thing you did, hrd2imgn!

As for the complainers, I do not think they really realize how important donations are - charities are in desperate need for - I'd dare to say - almost anything!

I know here in Michigan, a lot of non profit organizations are really strapped!

Thank you, hrd2imgn, and congratulations, Notradebaxx!

    Enjoy the show! 8-)
