Don't tell me this.. doesn't the fact that I'm here posting suggest that I might already be a 10C member?
What I'm saying is that, unfortunately, there appears to be an abundance of sellers (I'm referring specifically to 10C members with an extra single here), as well as an abundance of potential buyers (non-10C members) who simply cannot easily get connected with each other, due to the fact that this place is 10C only.

Obviously I realise ur a member, but I have no sympathy for people who complain that they can't get tickets yet aren't members of the fan club, its not expensive, its not difficult to do. If your a potential buyer and genuine fan, all you have to do is join 10C and you connect with potential sellers and buyers as easily as you want.

For anyone out there reading this,What is the best way to purchase Pearl Jam tickets when they go on sale. Although I am new to the Ten Club I have been a long time Pearl Jam fan. Through out the years I have seen them seven times. Every time I have went, my seats have been horrible, excluding the fact that Pearl Jam is there. When I go to purchase them, I make sure I am ready right when they go on sale. I have tried waiting in line at a ticket master location, calling over the phone, and searching on the internet. I realize that they sell out quick, but it always seems that there are scallpers who don't even want to go to the show that are getting ahold of good tickets and trying to sell them for hundreds of dollars. If that guy can get them I should be able to get them. I am not rich, but I am willing to spend extra money for good seats. Are some websites better than others? If anyone has any suggestions please let me know.....And if anyone has tickets to the Chicago shows and can't go, I would love to purchase a pair...otherwise I am left spending $300 or more on upper level tickets again.

Unfortunately, Pearl Jam has been opting out of General Admission in North America for many years now.. which really doesn't make sense to me, as I was under the impression that concert-goers in NA are more tame than those in Europe.

seems kinda bizarre, I know they had that issue with the rokskilde tragedy but that was at a festival and they have returned since to play Reading and Leeds festivals, for me it's just soo much better standing, regardless of quality of seat, I mean, there's nothing quite like being front row at wembley stadium for foo fighters! - cept maybe if I could get front row for the PJ gig at the o2 in august....
  • I should have joined the 10 club earlier, but I never really had efficient access to a computer. I always just relied on sitting by the phone and a friends computer when the tickets did go on sale and trying to get the best that I could. I am happy with any ticket that I get, but I just have seen them so many times now and never even been remotely close to the stage. I wasn't trying to complain when I posted the question, I was just trying to ask other PJ fans if they have special tricks or suggestions to give me to get better seats when they go on sale. I am not rich, so I have to rely on luck to purchase good seats.

  • The first few shows I went to in the early 90's had general admission floor seats, but I was unable to purchase any of those. Since then, every other show that I have been to has had seats on the floor.

    Either of the following

    1) Have a low 10c number
    2) Go with someone who has a low 10 number
    3) Win the 10c lottery (are they still doing this?)
    4) Pay $500

There's no real way to beat the scalpers.

Actually, there is. I've seen it work. Not me, but someone I know did this.
His aunt is a cop. She went to the venue with him. There was a scalper selling tickets. She flashed the badge, confiscated the tickets and let the guy go with a warning. She then, gave the tickets to her nephew.

    So, find a cop!!!!:)

you would get to mant drunken fratboy members pushing there way to the front. Also you would have to many holier then thou old time members complain. Not a cheap shot at all the old members, just the stuck up douches.
Ron: I just don't feel like going out tonight
    Sammi: Wanna just break up?

not really too much of a problem in europe, it's basically first come first serve (getting to the front), works well.
  • The only way that I know of to get good tickets not from 10c and not from the secondary market at highly inflated prices is to wait until 10c finishes assingning their allotment. Once they are finished with this process, they release the remaining tickets to Ticketmaster for the public to purchase. The catch is that you have to waiting to pounce on these released tickets and check this board and the ticketmaster site probably 10 times a day to make sure you don't miss out. They can do it anywhere from one to three months before the show so you really never know when it will happen. But, like I said, it's the only way as far as I know.

A *corrupt* cop you mean. What you've described is illegal.

  • Thanks for the advise. So I know for the next concert, when and where do I go on this site to find out the upcoming concerts and tickets sale dates? I have looked around the web page and the only spot that I saw that would make sense to have this information was at the concert page, but that only displayed playlists from previous concerts. Do you get an email or notification?
