    Great job, lephty!!!

I am at your "before" right now...6' and 289lbs according to the scale I stepped on yesterday.

What are some things you eat during a typical day?

    Congrats again!

when i first started, i was pretty strict with what i ate. breakfast was normally nonfat yogurt with fruit or oatmeal with honey/raisins. lunch was a leafy salad and dinner either another salad with some sort of protein or tuna on whole wheat bread!

currently, i've grown to LOVE my morning routine of oatmeal w/raisins and honey or NF van yogurt with fruit and granola. Lunch is still a salad with chicken, maybe a can of progresso soup or healthy choice steamer. Dinner tends to depend on what i did during the day. if i worked out hard, i eat something with a lot of protein and salad/vege side etc.

i got rid of any kind of snack foods in my apartment. my "cram food" is usually a handful of raisins.

in all honesty though, EXERCISE! if you are way out of shape, start with something that is easy on the body. i started with biking around the neighborhood and moved to ellipticals then treadmill jogging. now i can run like a maniac! the other day i ran 2 miles in 14:06! that's about 8.5mph!

now i do some quick cardio and then move to weights. muscles will burn calories even while resting, so the more you have, the more you use while not really trying~

i am not a doctor or nutritionist so take what i did in stride.. no your limits!

What do you plan on doing? I really need to some weight and I would love to lose a nice chunk fast.
lots of cardio, spaced out small meals and green tea.
    dominate

    And an 8 ball..

I'm no nutrionist, but I worked in fat people surgery for awhile and what you said makes total sense. Congrats!

Whilst trying on clothes today I noticed how much fat I've built up around the gut.
Time to burn that shit off.
