    don't stop at 2 weeks!

i took up an entire lifestyle change just over a year ago and lost 100 lbs! my old lifestyle was eat junk, sleep, work, WoW and go out a few nights a week. now i eat healthy, quit WoW(World of Warcraft) and replaced it with working out, sleep and work and go out a few nights a week.

    my motivation?
    1. family history - cancer, diabetes and heart issues are all over the branches in my family tree.
    2. taking my father to the hospital for his lung cancer treatments and seeing him and everyone in the waiting room looking so miserable.
    3. a guy i used to play WoW with died of heart related issues. I do not know the details on whether it was hereditary or not, but it made me look at myself and realize i am not much better off.

so i started at 5'11" 290lbs, 42 waist, XXL shirts and am now a 5'11" 190lbs 32 waist and able to wear snug fitting medium shirts!

i have NEVER been so physically fit in my life and i am 29!

take a look at yourself, your family and your habits. i think as a side bet, whomever kept the weight off or lost the most by a future date should be a secondary prize.

    I have want to lose 5kg but I keep yo-yoing from 87kg to 89kg (192-197lb) and back.
When I used to play indoor soccer I was 82kg.
I have the same diet, I eat healthy, my problem is eating to late and toooo much.
Oh and I could get more active!
I only drink water and limit take away to once a week but can't seem to drop to 82kg (180lb)
My BMI puts me slightly overweight, I am 6'2" or 187cm in the Aussie scale lol
People used to always tell me I am too thin now people say I've put on weight, I guess that is part of the transition from adolescence and into adulthood, you fill out!

90 kilos at 6-2 is just fine, jsut do not go over 90 kilos. chicks like a bit of meat.

I'd rather loose 5kg of fat and put on 5kg of muscle!
I got a bit of a belly now
Used to have a flat stomach.

i think it was the today show the other day that had a segment on losing weight myths. according to that expert, losing weight is all about calorie intake and calorie use during the day and that eating at night is fine as long as you do not exceed your calorie limit.

easiest thing to do for most people, watch what you drink. Soda and even "juices" can add a lot of empty calories. stick to water or low and no calorie drinks!

you can also cheat on your initial weigh in! eat a huge meal and don't go to the bathroom if you can help it=p on your final weigh in, make sure you are all cleaned out! could be a few pound difference in just that.

    Diet Rule # 269.

A slice of pizza has 360 calories.

So, now I cut the whole pizza into just four slices.
