True, obviously, Seattle is another big city, almost same oppertunities as the next one, however - I did fall in love with the city's character while I visited there six years ago, with the diversity and the earthiness of its residents. And however I might be partly following an image I've created in my mind - I know passion is what drives me to work hard and reach the goal I have in front of me. So this is how I rationalize this crazy chase :)

Seattle is a great place. You'll have fun

    I'd like to Share this with you guys… What is about to be my biggest life changing decision yet, this New Year's;

I'll be moving to Seattle to intern at a film festival, pursuing a livelihood in event production and public relations. After graduating communication studies here and dabbling a bit with TV, journalism and promoting local rock clubs, I've decided to take this HUGE step, leave it all behind and try my luck learning the ropes in the U.S., chose a deserving city that has always inspired me.

I'm throwing my ace in the whole, and going for what I feel is my goal in life, it is a scary move but I am going to take my chances on it.
I've always felt the highest when realizing an idea, art, a message – come to life and meet its audience, I now know that the only thing I want to do is produce, be responsible for such moments to come into being.

Hopefully all goes well and I survive the struggle, but besides my impulsive, dreamy, undomesticated nature I have this band we all talk about, to thank for the challenges I take on, and the courage I have to work up to do so. Inside Job will be playing repetitively on the 16 hour flight over, and pretty much the entire catalog will follow…
i just saw this thread and it may be late but i wish you the best on your huge decision!!! I hope everything goes well and if it doesnt at first, it will soon enough!!! ALWAYS HAVE A GOOD TIME.......

Good luck on your life journey!

I moved to Seattle when I was 25 to add excitement to my life, and expand my perception of all life had to offer. I moved when I was 35.

Many people are able to find all that they want in Seattle, so good luck to you!

    3. No, I haven’t seen any of the boys, neither have I gone out of my

    3rd and Union.
    6. Well, I might have just missed one of them if he happened to be on my

Since I went on my journy, with "Setting Forth" and "Inside Job" shuffling on my Ipod.

I am feeling this urge again, this time I have friends and city blocks I became attached to, waiting for me there... If only I was able to get that work visa and get back there...

I call for everyone who's afraid of making the big change to go ahead and jump right in! No regrets is the way to live.

Made the point with her over there, on more than a few occasions. Except sub in "bum on the street" for Vedder-look-a-like.

Hmmm. Those two are actually quite interchangeable.

Ummm, it was my idea as I recall, I pulled out the camera, and I called "sad!"
your sad face is priceless though...

Anyway, how insane is it that people are willing to hire me - but can't - because they aren't granted visas?!!

I knew all the rules but the rules did not know me, eh?
I hope you Americans feel fortunate! :)
