    Thanks for the laugh Patrick!

But in all seriousness, if the Pope has good taste in music, he'll be there.

I love the words "pope hat". It has a nice sound when said aloud. Try it. This is all I have to say about that.

If I knew where it was I would take you there. There's much more than this

I guess this thread is what liberals mean by "tolerance." Only be respectful of other's beliefs if you agree with them. Way to go everybody. I love how this thread that spews hate towards a significant amount of people on this board has not been locked yet.

    Clarification on the photos.

The priest photo. It is common to extend your hands out like that when giving a blessing. It is pretty similar to the Nazi salute. However, priests have been giving blessings long b/f Nazi's controlled Germany. I admit it is sorta ironic in this case.

The Nazi youth thing. Did children in Nazi controlled Europe really have a choice? It is like a child in this country going to school. Not saying it was ok. Of course, I know everybody here would have stood right up against the Nazi's instead of walking the line (sarcasm).

funny you should say that...i am part Austrian and my grandmother was 100%, she took my mom (who was only like 3 at the time) and the clothes on her back and fled to America because she wasn't down with that Nazi bullshit!!! so not everyone "walked the line" like your Pope and his fam.

and if you find the facts insulting i'm sorry you have a problem with the truth..not me...i didn't come out and say what i really wanted to say about him & Catholosisim because that would enter the realm of belief and then you would really feel insulted! and i didn't see one person "spews hate" as you said..you know who did spew hate? the Nazi's!

    Peace

What you do is spin factual items into your own hate filled propaganda. You do this all the time with anything that you see as being in power or part of the establshment. You do that with Bush, Obama, and religion. You take the fact that he grew up in Nazi occupied Europe and equate it to being a Nazi. Kids were forced to be part of associations that would rather avoid.

It's really funny b/c you are more like in a Nazi than the pope. You hate anything that is different. If you see opposition you want to tear it down.
