    snippets:
    - raised $35k the night of the FTM show.
    - www.Mariners.com/ccfa - must use this link for special tix for Mariners game where $7 per ticket go to CCFA
    - band wrote most of the music with BoB, but without Ed, in LA. They tightened it up, then Ed came in about halfway through to add to it
    - band just received final mix of the new album and are reviewing it
    - hope for release later this year - not end of year, more like fall

thanks Maverick, sounds awesome to me.

although I had hoped ed would have had a large input given previous indications he brought the into the wild sound to the mixer

I was at the Randall's Island show when John Popper came out to play harmonica
    on Even Flow. Good times...

So "late Fall" and not September anymore? :(

Anyone have any idea where we might be able to hear Mike do the anthem at tomorrow's
game? Are the Mariner's games streamed live on the web anywhere?

Unless Mike is being smart with dates, and giving a "worst case scenario" date to the public - which is what they should always do so that us fans don't end up bitching about being given wrong dates, even if they are just tentative.
    '05 - TO, '06 - TO 1, '08 - NYC 1 & 2, '09 - TO, Chi 1 & 2, '10 - Buffalo, NYC 1 & 2, '11 - TO 1 & 2, Hamilton, '13 - Buffalo, Brooklyn 1 & 2, '15 - Global Citizen, '16 - TO 1 & 2, Chi 2

    EV
    Toronto Film Festival 9/11/2007, '08 - Toronto 1 & 2, '09 - Albany 1, '11 - Chicago 1

Still, the last time I saw him quoted he said "it looks like September". Not it's "late Fall".

The date is slipping and I'm bitching!!!

I'll be SHOCKED if Ed hasn't brought in at least a couple songs on his own. I guess we will see in late Fall. As much as I love Ten, Porch is the best song on that record. Check the song writing credits.

word, but that was also back in the day when Ed's songs still had room for the rest of the band to breathe...something that seems to have happened less and less over the years

I understand. I fully expect that eV will have his own contributions to the album. I would expect no less. I'm just expressing my own preference.

Here's the breakdown of contribution percentages per the credits of Ten.

    Vedder: 15.45%
    Gossard: 47.27%
    Ament: 33.64%

    McCready: 1.82%
    Krusen: 1.82%

Thanks for the opportunity to reexamine the songwriting credits for Ten. It confirms a major reason why I like it so much. ;)

Whatever percentage of music and lyrics Ed wrote on No Code and Yield is the standard I would benchmark against.
