I can´t stop listening to this version.. probably the best version of yellow ledbetter EVER, imo!!
Ed´s voice sounds so awesome!!

    LOVE this version of YL. My favorite version actually.

    Thanks for the great pic too!!! Up until now, I had always thought it was an acoustic performance.

    Is this the same show with the really beautiful version of Rockin' with Mike and Ed? If so, is there anywhere i can listen?

    Yeah.. I also love this version of rockin in the free world, like you said the song rocks so much, but at the same time is so beatiful!!

    yeah - the cool thing is that they weren't scheduled to even be at the show. I missed the first day because I had to work - and gave my ticket to a friend. They said they saw Ed walking up to people, including them, sporting a (new) beard and he asked them for THEIR "autograph" for a petition.

    Anyway - the second day I was able to go, and we hoped Ed would perform, since he walking around on the first day. While in a tent - someone was handing out to the staff a revised show schedule - and I think it said something like "ed" or "ed performs" - something subtle like that.

    So my friend and I walked right up to the front rail, and about 10+ minutes later, Ed and Mike came out and played to the quickly filling crowd.

    I remember hearing on the radio that there was going to be a "special guest" playing the 2nd day. For some reason I had a feeling it was going to be PJ, so I made my friend get up early and drive our asses down to Randall's Island before the gates opened up. If I hadn't heard that on the radio, would've slept late, shown up in the afternoon, and missed Ed & Mike's set. Lucky for me.


    Alright, who's gonna post the link for Corduroy to complete the set??

    ....and don't forget about Long Road from REMs set too:)

    This version of YLB is one of the biggest reasons I turned into the PJ fan I am today. Thank you for that picture... it added a whole new element to the performance.

    the rockin and the corduroy/long road link isn't working. only yellow ledbetter, and i already have this one.
