Not just streaming. Its out there for download if you know "WHATS" up.

  • I've given it a few spins since I DL'd it last night and it has more of the makings of an instant classic than the last two IMO. Don't get me wrong, I love the last two and am as big of a Wilco fanboy as you will find, but this one is more instantly gratifying and doesn't take lots of digesting.

I have to say Bull Black Nova is bad ass! I love I'll Fight and Sunny Feeling... If this isn't an instant Wilco classic it's close.

More and more of listening to this album and I love it even more... This for mine is some of Wilco's best work right here.

In the middle of my second listen, and this is a very good album. 'One Wing' has to be my favorite song so far but overall this album is very good, and glad they are letting us listen to it :D

i'm into my second listen and bull black nova is blowing me away! very yankee hotel foxtrot (which i love). and the feist duet is loverly. - Dawn :D

just noticed that "you never know" rips a george harrison guitar riff - is it "my sweet lord"?

Finished my third listen. Man this album sounds great. The production isn't as quiet as A Ghost is Born and has more layers than Sky Blue Sky. Most importantly, though, these songs are going to kill live. I can't wait to (hopefully) see Wilco (The Song), Sonny Feeling, Bull Black Nova, One Wing and You Never Know at Bonnaroo. The only song I'm not really digging right now is the duet with Feist and I think that will stay a skipper. Still a very solid album and I can't wait to get ahold of the official release.

Sounds like Jeff Tweedy has been listening to a lot of Warren Zevon. Not that that's a bad thing. Wilco could make an album with thirteen nursery rhymes and I'd buy it, so I'm not very subjective. I love 'em.

I am nto sure as i'm not a big Harrison guy, but i can tell you the keys on parts of that song sound a LOT like that old song by sly and the family stone. I think it is everyday people. That pops in my head everytime i hear it. No wonder that song is so catchy lol.

anyway i love the album. I do wish there was more nels face melting going on. He seems tame compared to his live performances with the band.
I wish more of the songs were like Bull Black Nova i love when they make music like that.

One Wing is very cool and I'll Fight is a great little pop song too!

listening to it all day today pretty much. I have to say I'm in love with this album. I liked SBS but this beats it by a long margin. It's great to think Tweedy can still create good music after 7 albums plus Mermaid Avenue and Minus 5.

There is a lot of catchy songs much more than SBS. I love this band and now can't wait to see how the new ones play out live. To me this album sounds like a mixture of SBS and Summerteeth but more layered.

Listening to it now... up to bull black nova. Shit this is pretty good. I really like Wilco (The Song) just because its such a funny un-serious song. Bull Black Nova is amazing damn.

And Im not even a big Wilco fan, I only really likes Sky Blue Sky.

don't forget the loose fur work he did too :)

I see it as a bit of Yankee hotel Fox trot meets Summerteeth but i think most would say this album has some of the poppiest stuff they have done since Summerteeth for sure!

I read somewhere that You Never Know is going to be the first single. That's a pretty good choice, in my opinion.

  • This album is a lot more brawny than SBS. I'm liking it alot.

country disapeared and solitaire really don't fit well i for me.

They are not bad songs but i find myself skipping them when i am listening to the album.

that is my only complaint.. well that and not enough nels :)

agree with CD especially.. The album s better if I shuffle it instead of playing it right through in it's official order.

Since the stream is no longer available, is there any way that I can still listen to the new album before I pre-order it?

The guys asked that you make some kind of donation if you download it.

I'm really enjoying so far. It's interesting how central Nels Cline's playing has become so central to the Wilco "sound." I've heard "You Never Know" on the radio a bit, so I think the other poster is right that it's the first single.

I just did my LP pre-order. Pretty great for $20.

Can't wait for my first show in July!
