Amazing...I was scratching my head a few days ago when I saw you ask in a post how many Ames Bros books were signed by the band. All makes sense now. What a great prize. I entered something for a pearl jam iPod...was it an HMV Canada contest? I am guessing I did not win. Congrats again. Couldn't be happier for you

those two items look sweet! congrats fellow drummer!

btw - If you frame the book, make sure glass does not touch the cover. It can be held back from the glass with spacers. If it touches glass there's potential the cover, or portions of the cover or signatures, can stick to the glass over time. Also USE CONSERVATION GLASS. It'll keep the cover and signatures from fading. :)
ADD 5,200 to the post count you see, thank you. :)

my only reservation for you there would be that the quality of the prints would be poor.

There are ebay sellers selling mini posters - but we all know all they are are cut outs from the book and they are so expensive so if you want a few get the book.....the thing is what you have to frame there is so special you must do it right, and you'll have an awesome piece that you will cherish forever, get one thing wrong and it will always catch your eye and piss you off.

I'm currently working on a similar project, - trying to get it right this time, my last one i am very fond of, but I want to get the next one a little better, pictures of the last one can be found here

    http://lnx.pjcollectors.com/phpBB3/view ... &start=615

and that what i did with the photos is a better example of what i meant re the little pictures you could embed around the book.

or you could get one of the 8 x 10 promotional photos of the band and frame that next to the book using a similar style?

interesting point above re the conservation glass, the need for this will very much depend on where you are to place this thing for hanging, as if not in direct sunlight I wouldnt bother, as all glass will allow the thing to fade over time to some degree, and if not in direct sunlight it'll be so minimal you'll not notice, plus the conservation glass can detract from what you have framed in the finish it can give.

    Awesome!!! Congrats to ya.

And, don't frame the book. Books are made to be felt, read, and looked at.

You're totally right. I bought the same book and a friend of mine told me to keep it in his package to keep his value... And I was like "When do I read it???"

Silly, don't frame it. But at the same time, make sure you don't squeeze it between two books; you don't want the signatures to print at the front and the back of the other books!!!!
