    Daughter. I love how it says "Don't call me daughter...", then eventually just says, "don't call me...".
    And the part. "she holds the hand that holds her down, but she will rise above".
    My mom and I went trhough a thing where I just refuse to speak to her anymore. So "don't call me". is perfect.
    And I did rise above!!!

    it really gets to me that one band can make a different song that to me relates to every experience i've had. good or bad. helped me get through some really tough times. this band is what got me to wake up and realize what a mistake this marriage would have been. it hit me one day that i completely relate to an extremely dark song and it made me start thinking "why?" it opened up a pandora's box of emotions and revelations... so from me to PJ THANK YOU MORE THAN YOU WILL EVER UNDERSTAND!

    Right now it would be Not for You. In general, probably daughter. As far as rhythm, I feel my life moves to the beat of Alive. But the thing with this band is there is an incredible affinity between who I am and their music and lyrics. Immortality, Leash, Corduroy... it's endless :)

    ... and I still think Drive-By Truckers are better.
