do you have to purchase it on the spot? I was looking at that but I thought you had to put something else in there.

Yes, you're basically committing to the hotel before the result comes up. You'll have to set up an account with Priceline first and then search like I said.

Unfortunately you do have to put in your CC info on the spot to get the $60 rate. It's a gamble but it really pays off in the end.

I went to 10 PJ shows last year and used Priceline for all the hotels I stayed at. You can't beat it!

Who knows, the band may be staying at this hotel, too. It's a pretty swanky hotel. :)

I'm planning on taking a little boat cruise right across the street from the hotel. Looks like fun.

Something to look into. If we have enouph people staying at the Hyatt, they may have some sort of shuttle service. Looks like quite a bit of people booked here. Just a thought.

Got the Hyatt Regency great deal! Can't wait! See everyone there! cab ride would only be about 4 miles if there is no hotel shuttle service or if it is limited.

There's also a hostel on Wabash ave., which is right next to Michigan Ave.

Nice work people. Just scored the HR for 60 Hamiltons. Should we just find a van service to take us over to the show after a pre-function at or near the hotel?

Be aware - parking is $48/night at that Hyatt.

Forget the car. You don't need one in Chicago anyway.

I'm coming in from Monticello, GA (50 SE of ATL). I got the Hyatt deal. I'm concerned about the parking though. If any locals have recommendations for parking somewhat close to the Hyatt that is cheaper, let us know! If we have to pay $48/night parking, that will eat up the good deal that we got.

Who wants to drive a car on vacation anyway. I'll bet the Hyatt has an O'hare shuttle and 48 bucks is a lot of cab'n it for what your feet won't carry you to...
