    I'm taking the GF to her 1st Pearl Jam concert. :) I've been working on brainwashing, er "converting" her since we first started dating! LOL She still has to pass a series of random Pop Quizzes between now and then before I deem her "worthy" of going. ;) That will involve asking her to name the song title and album of any song I ask her about.

    Yay Jason! Glad you're ditching the cheeseheads for a weekend of real fun! ;) So a new girl, eh? We'll have check her out and see if she gets the PJ stamp of approval. Make sure she studies hard!!! :ugeek:

    Yeah, it is kind of like that. Went to 3 last year and they were pretty big. The 2007 Chicago one was huge as well. There will be tons of people there.

    of course it's mostly because of all of the people from around the globe that join us
    but still........if you're coming in for the show, you've GOT to come and hang out with us for a little bit (or a long bit) beforehand

    Let's see...I started my girlfriend off with "lyrics of the day" - lyrics from a song of my choice every day for a month. Once in a while I sent an article of the good PJ does in the community. Took her to see a couple tribute bands. Tried to explain the fans and how great they are....

    Then by 2008, she was with me in Mansfield and will be with me in Chicago.
