They need to bring back the lottery for next big tour!! It gives those of us with crappy #s a chance to get a good seat for once.

I love that there is no lottery. It should ALWAYS be based on seniority.

Admittedly, this is coming from someone with a shit number, so without the lottery I'd never get towards the front, but is losing a mere four rows (which is what? 12-15 feet at most?) really that big a deal for people with low numbers? You'll still be at the front, and it's good to share the wealth with the people who have never been there are will never be again, no? It seems like PJ do a lot to make sure everyone enjoys the show, not just the same few hundred fans night after night. I may be biased, but I don't understand how anyone can think the lottery is a bad thing.

the lottery cool concept, but if you really want to make it fair you have to mix it up, not just make it 1st 2 rows and 9/10. Some shows it should be like 6-8 and 14-16 etc. The BEST perk of the TC is the good seats, and though you can argue for letting newbies up there who were not around in 92-95 era and so on the same can be made to say let the old farts keep their rights too.

Yeah I know bitching about 3rd row is pretty lame, but why is it any fairer to knock the old crew back any more than it is to let the new crew up front? Yes some of the road hogs will be seen up front a lot again, but if you are watching them and not the band then you have big issues as far as I am concerned. Stop worrying about where you are and worry about the fun of being there.

So lottery cool, just mix it up don't always make the rows the same static position.

If you want to piss everyone off make every seat random....now that is really the only true fair way then isn't it? Why should ten clubbers get all the good seats, throw the ticket master people in the fray too.....oh that sounds lame, we have rights as ten club members! Oh yeah, one of those has always been seniority gets you closer.

My point is both sides have valid arguments, one is not right over the other as someone will feel slighted no matter what. Just enjoy the fucking show!!

Here is a great idea, how about Pearl Jam decides that since we all love to cry over the rules that they put out for there shows, they decide to say fuck it and no more seats for anyone than what, I see than that means that every scum bag ticket brooker will get great seats and we will be sol, so lets all stop bitching and enjoy the shows. And for all of you that dont like the system that they have in place than just dont renew your membership and everyone will be happy

I can see both sides of this issue...that said, I don't believe that the length of time you have been a member of the 10C is indicative of how long you have been a fan of PJ.

10C seniority isn't meant to be a "fandom" indicator,...

Ten Club tickets are for reserved seating and will be allocated by seniority. Seat locations will be reserved from the 1st row on the floor, extending back, and the side sections closest to the stage. The longer you have been in the fan club, the closer your seats will be to the stage. Newer members should not expect prime seat locations. Proximity to the stage is contingent on the amount of members in attendance. Seat location is NOT revealed prior to the performance

I think this says it all...I like it...

obviously the older fans with older numbers like it one way and the newer fans like the lottery.

it's all good with me, whatever PJ decides. it's their show, its our show.
