  • Joe are you doing Santacon today?  If so let's meet up!

  • Someone likes the hazy IPAs!  I feel like that's all I've been drinking lately myself.  My wife asked me if I was drinking orange juice the other night...LOL.

Nope Chris but I hope you have a great time. Tonight I’ll  be at Singlecuts 5 year anniversary party.

Fun fact: I went on their first tour the day they opened.

Recently I told someone “I love beer... well actually I love IPAs and like other styles!” Haha

I love me some west coast and classic IPAs too it’s just I take photos of beers the first time I try them.

Opening up my my own first batch of IPA next weekend.

Oh yeah, same here.  I love all IPAs.  I've just been all over these double dry hopped hazy IPAs....a brewery right by me called Mikerphone Brewing has been churning those out like crazy lately.  This place is the best...everything is music related.  The guy who opened it used to work in the music industry....even the tap handles are microphones!

That West Coast IPA from Boneyard, was it good? Boneyard has some great IPAs. RPM is on tap nearly everywhere here. They also make Hop Venom a double and Notorious IPA a triple.

Very good. First and only beer I’ve had from boneyard so far. I’ll need to find some more.

  • If anyone wants CBS or Tenfiddy barrel aged my local has them.

It's $29 for the CBS and $16 for the Tenfiddy.

I can get as many as you want.
    No takers, huh?

Been told that Orlando Brewing is good. No personal experience.
If you can get to Tampa then go to Cigar City. Now owned by Oskar Blues but still worth a visit.
If you can find it on tap definitely try Funky Buddha from Ft. Lauderdale. Timing might be right for their Maple Bacon Coffee Porter. YUM!

  • Ugh, my phone screwed up and I just deleted my whole post by accident.  Anyway, to sum up:

@Malroth, definitely check out Orlando Brewing. The Blackwater Porters, Pale Ale, Olde Pelican, and Pompous Ass are all excellent.  And if there is any way you can and would be willing to ship me a bottle or two of the Mint Chocolate Girl Stout, I would gladly pay you!!

Yeah, I'd like to try the CBS.

I owe you a beer so Tenfiddy is on me if you want.  It is a tallboy can and barrel aged hence the price.

I might buy a case of the CBS too!

No clue if they have tours or a bar but I really liked this IPA. Had it in Florida two weeks ago.

You need to visit Colorado. Home of the largest liquor store in the world.  Though their craft selection isn't  as good as it should be.

But there are numerous huge liquor stores with 24 doors or more of craft plus giant walkins  for the more limited stuff.

Not to mention the 350+ breweries.

Funny you say that - I find myself going the same way. Huge hops, bitter, pale-ale-of-any-kind kinda guy, but starting to really love stouts.

This place near me - http://seconddistrictbrewing.com/beer/ - has a stout called Huy, which was (looks like it's off their rotation now) a Vietnamese Cofftee Stout. So good - https://www.beeradvocate.com/beer/profile/48411/268702/
