I think people should be pointing fingers so we can prevent the arrival of the straw that eventually breaks the camels back.
I thought the previous administration was far too liberal with our money so it's not surprise that this one is going to be even worse in my eyes. The only people we should try to get even with...

This is another example of this administrations pre 911 mindset. First the memos and then this  It's only a matter of time.0

I don't know what it could have been.
maybe a serious breech of security that they don't want to admit to , to government perks...maybe Biden was taking the jet for a cruise? I don't know, just speculation.
But to get a picture?
we have cgi, technology to do this without sending mothers into labor and giving the elderly heart attacks, which apparently happened.Post edited by Commy on0 -

could have been a serious breech of security that they don't want to admit to , to government perks...maybe Biden was taking the jet for a cruise? who know, like I said, speculation.
yeah but c'mon....this is our federal govt....this is exactly the kind of lame, dumbshit move they'd do.....doesn't matter who's president....bureaucrats are morons...always have been, always will.....i guarantee the guy that that thought of this didn't think for one instant that anyone would have a problem with it....washington dc is like a cocoon.....once in it, the people there think they can do anything and no one will bother them....surely 20 years of bushes and clintons have taught us this0 -
Ah you guys.....government wastes money all the time. When I was AD Air Force, my shop had to come in on a Saturday to catch ten A-10 aircraft that flew up from Davis-Monthan (Tuscon) to Luke (Phoenix) for a pilot pool tournament. There reason was "pilot training" but it was odd that they brought their pool cues. What kills me is that they could have rented a van and drove the 2 hours up. By my weekend isn't that important I guess.
We also had a F-18 land one time for gas, both pilots were flying across the country, partying in all the big cities just for "flight hours". ........I never liked pilots......BRING BACK THE WHALE0 -
The money dosent bother me as much as the people that had to evacuate from their office buildings and one would think not knowing it was air force 1 but that it was another attack. Go find the clip and look at all the people running around and screaming. If that had been me I would have been livid :x :x0

I think anyone who believes this WAS a photo op has their head in the sand.
I know the gov't likes to waste money, but the lack of human decency to alert the public prior to this incident isn't plain forgetfulness or inconsideration. There's definitely something more to this.0 -
Imagine if Bush did this? The press would have eviscerated him and this would still be a huge story.SLC 11/2/95, Park City 6/21/98, Boise 11/3/00, Seattle 12/9/02, Vancouver 5/30/03, Gorge 9/1/05, Vancouver 9/2/05, Gorge 7/22/06, Gorge 7/23/06, Camden I 6/19/08, MSG I 6/24/08, MSG II 6/25/08, Hartford 6/27/08, Mansfield II 6/30/08; Eddie Albany 6/8/09, 6/9/09; Philly 10/30/09, 10/31/09; Boston 5/17/10

And if this story gets swept under the rug and never heard from again, then that's more of a red flag. An "oops" one day, and then it's over? Things are working too well for those who don't want the public talking about it and questioning what this could really be about.0 -

Obama didn't do this. He didn't even know about it. Well, at least according to his statements about the incident.
And while I think it's great to question what the media feeds us, why do some folks think this wasn't a photo op? AF1 was flying around the Statue of Liberty for a half hour with a fighter jet escort. Clearly no one hijacked AF1, so rule out terrorism. Beyond that, what could this have been?"If no one sees you, you're not here at all"0 -

Jeanwah wrote:Um, the Bush administration controlled the press, as does the existing administration... The mainstream media is not a separate entity any more, since journalists do as they're told now, whereas they used to dig for the truth years ago. Get independent journalism in, and it would be a different story.
