1) I like that the 10c tickets are restricted to Europeans
2) I like that seniority is being kept intact
3) Not sure I like the sudden announcement of tickets being onsale

are any Europeans who may have just checked in here having trouble getting 10C tix at this time?

I don't like 1) (even if I benefit this time, I don't want to get shut out of US sales..and I want my non-euro friends to come)
don't care about 2) since I go GA
don't like at all 3)...an hour notice at least would have allowed people time to think!

fair enough, but 1), its good so that at least people in the same country have a better chance of scoring tickets
I wouldnt want to get shut of the NYC area shows because all you brits want to come to NYC!!!!:lol:;)

who needs the brits, we could get shut out simply by all the tri-staters!

i am kinda thinking all of this is simply b/c it's not a full tour, but only a 4 show stint. since there seems to be rumors swirling about for further euro shows later in the year, and all the other unsubstantiated rumors...coupled with the fact that a new album WILL be coming out soon....i am thinking more of a real tour will come, along with ticket sales more along the lines of the US shows last year (at least i hope.)

    1. i don't like restrictions on ANY sales according to location (exception being small/special shows)
    2. as pegasus pointed out, most euro shows are GA, so seniority don't mean squat......and i liked the 2008 seniority/lottery system.
    3. not a fan either, but again...i think it's simply a one-off thing. certainly cannot imagine it for a full blown tour!

The tkts are not limited to Europeans, starting April 30th the pre-sale is open to all active 10c members.

    I don't like 3..
Some of us don't have money always on appropriate credit cards and it takes time to go to the bank and sort some extra limit or whatever. Plus it's a national holiday here today, so banks aren't even open. I hope tickets don't sell out too fast...
Sometimes it's also nice to have time to think things through and make a plan...and prepare your finances..
Maybe I'm just thinking like a student...but it's such an adrenaline rush for me know...The thing that puzzles me most is that PJ might come back for a full-Euro tour..(as it is stated on some page). So do I wait for closer dates and risk not hearing them...I wish some things were more clear.
I'm not complaining..just letting some thoughts run free... ;)

    true
but if there are any tickets left, I will be surprised and disappointed with the Europeans!

my god, tickets still available...so really whats the problem?

if it had sold out in minutes i;d see the point but NOONE has been shut out.

and treat these dates as the only ones you'll get, that way you cannot get caught short. if more come even better.

    why?
were you surprised and disappointed with the south when they didn't sell out of 10c tix?
there Is a reason why they hit up the NE so much. i really don't think ed and the boys love us so much here ;)....we just have a rabid and populous fanbase! :P

i would be curious to know just how many 10clubbers even live in europe and elsewhere, i am sure that just like here....lost many members over the years, and since most euro shows are GA, outside of first shot at tix, there isn't as much *value* to being a european 10clubber, unless you travel outside of europe for shows more often.

anyhoooo....i personally think there will be 10c tix to be had by anyone who wants em, europeans and beyond....

this will be their 3rd trip to europe in 4 years, so i think the casual fans have gotten their shows (except in the cities theyve not played).....and beyond that, times are tough around the world, so people overall are watching discretionary spending. i thnk these 4 shows are a nice trip for pj & co....and a reward to the rabid 10c fans. :)

there's far less Euro members (which is why shutting us out of Ed shows made no sense..there's less of us in the first place, let alone that would do the trip for Ed)

If a tour announcement requires you go to the bank to sort things out, you probably shouldn't be going the shows in the first place :D

Money is not such an issue but having money on the right credit card...

Well I was half-kidding, but c'mon, they wanted more shows and they have a priority on tix, got get em!!
But perhaps the 10c are able to grab a larger percentage of the audience in Europe and there will be plenty of tix.
Yes, I was disappointed with the south. They complain that they don't get enough shows and then don't buy tix.
Wish it was that easy up here. But Im sure there will plenty of dates for us to choose from, all in all, what happens over in Europe or the south is of no great concern.
