I think tailgating sounds great! Also, I like Doc's for a place to hang right down the road. There are plenty of choices around there. But with us having to get our tickets starting at 5:30 and Liam going on at 7:30 I'm all about the tailgating.

Just got my tickets!!!! They are row K of the upper deck but the place didnt have any more tickets together at 10:02! Then they started selling tickets to the second night which I have ten club tickets for. If this is anything like LA last year its so BAD ASS!!!!

I'll be there both nights. I live about 10 min away and still can't believe he is playing that close to me. I traveled to San Diego last year to see his show and what a difference a year makes. There are some cool bars around the smyrna square where i'll prob start off... but like I said it's a good 10 minute ride to the venue.

I figure tailgating starting around 2pm? Then head to 10c box office and pick up tix at 5:30, meet back up and share seating arrangements with oters while bullshitting and boozing for another hour or more then head into the venue... I'd even be willing to chip in for some burgers and dirty franks...

Afternoon tailgating would be awesome ! my gf and I suggested parking the car at a nearby hotel, having beer in a cheap, disposable stryrofoam coolder .. cooking out would rock ! good call AtlantaJammer !

I got a pair off TIcketmaster yesterday for the first Atlanta show in Box 32 Row 1. I actually got them as two separate singles by luck, pairs weren't coming up. This is one of the three boxes closest to the stage, to the right of the stage as you're facing it. I'm looking to trade for a great single plus the cash difference to keep everyone happy. I have the tickets in hand, can ship or meet up in Atlanta anytime.

I am coming with my wife. Background - I met my wife in June 06 (First Date 6/14) , we went to Gorge in July 06 (her first show) and she loved it, how could she not, it was the Gorge. We got married in Oct 06, I know, four months later. Then Lolla in Aug 07, West Palm and Tampa in June 08. She is hooked now and is a great person to go to show with. She would kill me if I traded her ticket and left her at home. No really she would kill me!

We wanted to go to Night 2 but I have to get back to Tampa for work.

Just found out I'm going both nights! My sister got TM tix and is flying me in! She's returning the favor cause I did the same for her last year (flew her out for the EV Vancouver shows). Just wish she would have told me her intentions cause I would have tried for 10C seats. Oh well, her seats are pretty good and it looks like there is not really a bad seat in the house from the pictures I've seen of the venue. Plus having grown up in the area, I'll get to spend time catching up with old friends and family. Sweet!

I am in for both nights. Now I just have to pray to God that my wife does not go into labor while I am gone (that would be 2 weeks early). She is not real happy I am doing this trip (which I completely understand) but after seeing Ed in New York last year I feel like there is a hidden force pulling to the ATL to see these shows. It almost feels like a religious pilgrimage to me.

Seeing Liam Finn again will be cool too. I had been listening to a bootleg of his before seeing him in New York and was blown away in person. It is amazing what he does with just himself and EJ.
