Glad to hear that... the best tourist thing to do in Dublin is a pub crawl unless it's lead by me... I managed to lead a load of jammers up to Whelans one night... I think we hit ALL the gay pubs in Dublin :shock: d'oh! Not that there's anything wrong with them but I'm sure they woulda liked some kinda variety . I think the best pubs to visit are sometimes the non touristy ones... cos people will be interested in the fact that you're a tourist.

hahaha, yes the best pub was one that was not in the tourist area, we found it by coincidence and decided to have a beer there...everybody was staring at us like the classical what the fuck are they saying, which is your language?

lol, but I bet you got to know plenty of them and had a great time??? Can you remember where it was or describe it?

People were very nice with us all the time, i really don't remember where it was (I really lost count how many pubs we went that day), we were walking down the river on the opposite direction to the docks when we found it, beer was cheaper and people were real irish :shock:

Funny thing is that i was interviewed on the street, the reporter asked if I knew something about "coach surfing", I did it once in Manchester, she was very interested into going to Mexico in a coach surfing experience, i guess she has not a fucking clue what is going on right now there :(

ah that's Ireland for ya although people tend to ignore these things cos everyone knows that it will be over at some point and we'll never hear of it again.
