What if Pearl Jam and Led Zeppelin......

were playing in your hometown on the same night and you were guaranteed front row for PJ, upper level for Zep. Which show do you attend?

With all the hoopla over Zep maybe touring thought I'd throw it out there.

Growing up with Zep and having seen PJ 25 times I'd go with Zep......

Led Zeppelin - without even a thought.

There will be plenty more chances to see PJ, but you cannot say that about LZ.
  • I'd take the PJ over anyone....unless Hendrix rises from the dead. Led Zep just ain't what they used to be.

front row PJ? the answer is simple.
  • tough one as I have never seen PJ from the front row and that is one of my dreams. In this case though I would have to say ZEP. Might NEVER get to see that.

    front row PJ, babeeeeeeee!
    WOOT!
  • I would go to PJ, because Zepellin are way past their prime.. they are an old nostalgia act. A GREAT old nostalgia act, yes, buit the way I see it, I didn't see them at their peak so I lost out. I'll keep it that way.

Besides, for ME, Pearl jam are the greatest band ever. They've impacted my life in a way that Zeppelin haven't./

    PJ, without a doubt.
  • I saw Page and Plant 10 years ago and it was the best concert I've seen outside of many PJ shows... I can't imagine them sounding any better 10 years later so I'll go with PJ.

    Zeppelin no doubt.

Ive seen enough PJ shows for now, and the chance to see one of their last probable shows is way too good to pass up.
And so you see, I have come to doubt

  • That is a toughy, but I would go the LZ show. Just to see Page and Plant once in my lifetime vs. one show of many more from PJ is a no-brainer for me.

I don't really like front row. Id rather be 15-20 rows back to get the best sound. I am also able to take in the atmosphere alot more this way, with the crowd and the whole setting. When front row, I have a tendency to be looking more than im listening!

Back to the topic! Im gonna go with the zepps!

I live in the "South," so there's no way PJ would play here. Zep, on the other hand might. So, in real life, I'd see Zep. In a fantasy world, PJ would open for Zep, and it would be the night of my musical life. So long as we're dreaming. :)

Hands down Zeppelin... sorry Pearl Jam... but I do have a tattoo of your band on my arm... if that helps. :)

I have seen both now, and i'd find that a hard one to call. Led Zeppelin and Pearl Jam both mean so much to me!

I'd probably go to Zep seeing as Page and Jones are the best ever, and lets face it, PJ are gona be around much further into the future!

  • I just wanna see PJ near the front next time at Alpine Valley. :D

I saw Jimmy Page and the Black Crowes a few yrs ago. They played four Crowes songs and the rest were Zeppelin songs. One of the best shows of my life. Enough with all this Zeppelin talk. Awesome band but come on lets move on shall we. lol
  • i'll probably get crucified for this but: Zeppelin. and it's not even close.

zeppelin hasn't toured in 27 years and is arguably the greatest and most influential rock band of all time. in a matter of opinion, i like pearl jam better along with a lot of you I'm sure...

don't get me wrong i love zeppelin too, but i've seen pearl jam 6 times. this would be an easy decision from a novelty standpoint - and a historical one.

seeing zeppelin has been a want of mine for years - now it might actually happen? i salivate at the thought of this.

PJ. Zep have been boring me ever since I scribbled all over my brother's vinyl album cover of Physical Graffiti, and drew in all the windows with biro, the day he brought it home from the record shop in 1975. :D

I would take the front row seats for Pearl Jam and then go see Zep in another city. I have never been front row at any big concert (just at some small club shows) so I don't think I could pass up front row to my favorite band but I couldn't pass up a chance to see Zep either. I was born in the 80s so I've never had the chance to see them before. Next to PJ, they're probably my favorite band.

PJ for sure. I hate to sound negative but what if one of the band members dies tomorrow.

The plenty days are only an accident away from never happening.
