    Somebody with autograph expertise will show up, but the guy is from St Lou and got that signed in 04, a year when there was a show in St Lou. They look pretty good to me, but I won't be the final word.

    Looks totaly fake to me. The Jeff Ament signature isn't even close.

    Looks like this same guy is faking other bands as well.. The sig's look pretty bad to me.

    would agree this looks very fake, eddies is the one that snatchs it for me, looks terrible, and maybe I'm wrong on this but it always raises an eyebrow when they all use the same pen

    I don't think that is the same time period. Didn't Ed have pretty short hair for the VFC tour, which is where the seller likely got it. There is a disclaimer in some of his auctions saying he will be sellin tons of other autographed stuff.

    In a few of them that I checked out, he had a description of when he got the sigs. Maybe you could do a bit of detective work. There is a somethin signed by Soundgarden. Maybe you can match it up with the PJ.

    I'm inclined to think that maybe this guy worked with acts, somehow. Probably coulda got alotta the autographs in a much calmer atmosphere than most people, so the sigs would be different.

    Lost dogs was issued at the end of 2003. This item was claimed to be signed in 2004.

    Eddies signature from at least 2003 to 2006 or so looks like the legitimate example I gave.

    It looks like the person who forged the fake one, tried to copy a much older version of Eddie's signature.

    Either way he did a terrible job. It is a perfect example of a horrific fake.

    EDIT: Only now and for the past couple of years has Eddie changed the E' in his first name.
