Sit on my couch. Maybe try to do my taxes. Watch Bonnie & Clyde. Maybe some porn. Order pizza. I'm stoked.

BBQ at my sister's house. Me, hubby, sis and her hubby and our mom will be in attendance. bro-in-laws sis and her hubby may be there and their kids, but hopefully not. :P i like it better when it's just *us*...and really, i like it even MORE when we go to a restaurant, but whatever. just nice to get together. i believe filet mignon, ham and bro-in-laws awesome filetto sauce and penne is being served...probably with a ridiculous amount of appetizers....so it's all good. :D

oh and saturday, total debauchery to make up for sunday. ;) eh.....just a total *relax* day. my new hammock arrives today and i am hoping for beatiful weather tomorrow to break it in, glass of wine in hand! 8-)
    Stay with me...
    Let's just breathe...

I agree about turkey being the food of choice for holiday dinners.

But last year, my sister's ex who was a chef made an excellent pork shoulder for Easter dinner.

Actually a pork shoulder or nicely cooked roast pork would be fine with me, its just ham I don't care for, and apparently when he woke up, Jesus must have said "I'm back, lets have a ham!".

I'll be celebrating my birthday with my family. First time Easter and my birthday happen to be on the same day!

I just hope I can find an excuse not to go to church with the family.

I know it sounds lame and cheesy, but I know I'll end up going because of my niece and nephew. My family is Catholic, and the kids are being raised with that upbringing as well.

And hey, it can't be all that bad, I think I turned out alright, aside from my whole renouncing god/jesus thing.

Happy birthday Thorns2010, it's my son's birthday too.

We'll do church, have a big family dinner/brunch. Watch the Masters. The good news is my father-in-law likes his cocktails so we'll have plenty of those. Oh, plus birthday cake.

Relaxing tonight after a stressful work week (I can tell when I'm stressed at work because I post more to balance myself). Parents coming in tomorrow, getting baptized at the Easter Saturday night Mass, relaxing with the family on Easter Sunday, big dinner, watch The Passion Sunday night.
Do you remember Rock & Roll Radio?

Mel Gibson "The Passion"?...I can't imagine what else it would be. I really thought that was a great movie. I've been a fan of a lot of Mel's stuff (directing work mainly).

When I was married I hosted thanksgiving, christmas day, new years day, mothers day and easter at our house and cooked for both his family and mine. This year I'll be sleeping in, then visiting my grandmom for a bit (she's very ill) then to a thai place with my parents for dinner.... Sounds much better to me then the previous years, though I do miss the easter egg hunts! :)

Dinner at my in-law's. My mom will be there too.

Very much missing my dad right now. Family get togethers were always more fun when he was there. He died in October 2007. Saturday is his birthday. :(
