Are you still in love with him now that you get an idea of what kind of what kind of Socialist he is?
How about the way he is leaving a HUGE debt for our great great grand kids?
How about the way he is elected to be the president of the strongest country in the world, yet he kisses the ass and bows down to every european leader to ask for forgiveness, EVEN THOUGH....if it was not for us, almost all of europe would probably still be under the control of the Third Reich.
I really could go on and on...
I am curious to see if anyone who voted for him will admit that that made a mistake choosing such an under qualified person because he is young and a great speaker?

And what is up with these pirates all of a sudden? These pirates don't even look cool. One of those captive should ask:
1) Where is your parrot?
2) I thought you'd say, "Arrrrrrrrggggghhhh!" when you boarded my ship! I'm highly disappointed.
3) Where is your pegleg?
4) Can we go look for some treasure?Do you remember Rock & Roll Radio?0 -
Really not even a point of replying to such a bias-ly worded series of questions... It's not even like you are even care what the answers are so it's not as if you are trying to start an open discussion. My whole life

Okay ok, that came off harsh. But I am angry about what he is doing and really am wondering if people have second thoughts about it?blackredyellow wrote:Really not even a point of replying to such a bias-ly worded series of questions... I will try to keep it civil. I just know I am out numbered in here so I always put my shield up. Sorry

Socialism, not care too much about it. The "Free Market Capitalism" has done us a lot of good
Debt: Doesn't matter who the president is. The debt was there before he came into office, it will still be there when he leaves.
I didn't vote Obama because he was the "Savior" I voted for him to keep Psycho Palin out of office. You think this place is fucked now? It would be a total shitstorm IMO McCain/Palin were in office.
It was a "Lose-Lose" situation to begin with.NERDS!0 -

Think about this....lets say you live in a total Socialist country ok, and you come up with a great innovative idea like..oh I dont know, a Chia Pet! LOL, and you design it and spend years and years making the prefect object with long hours and hard work and people go crazy over it and you make millions. Guess what???
YOU DONT MAKE MILLIONS. All that hard work is wasted, you dont get to reap the benefits of honest hard work b/c the SOCIALIST GOVERMENT takes it away from you. SUCKS huh?
How about private property. Do you own or want to own a house? Well try it in Cuba....not a chance.
Just because the economy was going down and Bush made some stupid moves does not mean Capitalism is bad. Capitalism is waht made America the greatest country in the world! Sure right now we are down, but not out. Its just the cycle that it goes through.
McCain is one of the FEW real honest guys in Washington, but you saw a old man and went with the handsome guy who gives everyone false hope.Get em a Body Bag Yeeeeeaaaaa!

Capitalism: an economic system based on the private ownership of the means of production and distribution of goods, characterized by a free competitive market and motivation by profit.
Private ownership in decline...Free competitive market? Nope.
Socialism: a political theory or system in which the means of production and distribution are controlled by the people and operated according to equity and fairness rather than market principles.
Controlled by the people? Equity and fairness? Nope.
Fascism: any movement, ideology, or attitude that favors dictatorial government, centralized control of private enterprise, repression of all opposition, and extreme nationalism.
Hmmmmm….

Were you crying socialism when Bush was in office? If you weren't, then you are on nothing but a partisan attack. I mean the largest increase in the size of government since the New Deal? Record spending that took the largest surplus in US history and created the largest deficit in US history? TARP?
Huge debt? I don't care who is in there or who will ever be in...there's going to be a huge debt left to future generations.
Really? Going back to WWII? I think apologizing for being an arrogant nation the last eight years is a great first step in mending broken relationships. I suppose the "fuck you, we don't need you" attitude was much healthier.0 -

Correction. McCain WAS one of the few honest guys in Washington until he sold his soul to the very thing that ended his chance in 2000. Are you naive enough to really believe that last statement is why people voted for Obama?0 -

When capitalism put profit over the well being of all people, the dollar before human lives and pushed those in poverty closer to the bottom treating them as a lower grade of people.....
I became a socialist

I have a question for you: are you going to one of those Tea Bag Parties....? I bet you are...

Have a question for you.....where/are you okay with having a total incompetent ignorant VP a heartbeat away from being the president? I sure wasn't. If I had a corporation to run I'd rather have Obama at the helm than McCain/Palin. I still like his foreign policy very very much. Having been abroad recently, it's kind of shocking how much his election has improved our country's credibility in the eyes of the world. I was in an Islamic country that 2 years ago was terrified of the US and is now eager to partner with us again and work as our allies. His moves with Gitmo, Iraq, Afghanistan, stem cell research, and the global gag rule have all been fantastic.
That said, his fiscal policy is kind of terrifying. Social programs I can be ok with... but these bank bailouts are a fucking joke. However, those were started under Bush and I rather doubt McCain would have done any different. Sadly, I don't think there's a politician in this country willing to stand up to the banks and tell them to go fuck themselves. We're digging a massive hole with the bailouts and it's not going to solve our problems at all. It's scary.
As to Europe, he should be going around apologizing. We've been a bunch of dicks to the entire world for 8 years, I see nothing wrong with saying you're sorry about that. It takes more guts than continuing to act like an asshole and a little humility never hurt anyone.
Speaking of humility, the Third Reich comment is a joke. Europe would've been fine without us. I know it gives you a boner to think we saved the world, but it was actually the Russian army that stopped Hitler's machine. Sorry.0 -

Cuba's a communist dictatorship, not a socialist country. Ask people in Sweden how they like owning their houses. You DO get to own property in socialist countries, and if you have a great idea like a Chia Pet (kinda shows a lot if you think that was a great idea) you DO get to keep more money than most other people get. You pay a lot in taxes, but you pay a lot in taxes here too.
Newflash, the USA is ALREADY a socialist country and has been for decades... and it's a good thing. Free market capitalism does not work, no more than communism does.0 -
