Very Dissapointed........

Not to hear anything about the new album. It is very "disheartening".

Supposedly 14 tracks are fully completed (per Mike in radio interview 2 weeks ago) and no news?

Im very upset about this.....i cannot take 3-4 years inbetween albums....i have been spoiled with the way sony had them pumping out albs within 1-1/2 years.....

Still dont understand why no official word yet. We should have a tracklisting, a single, and a release date by now.....

    With all due respect to EV and all those here......

    Im pretty sure that the majority here wanted to hear news about the album, and FB tour.....NOT a EV solo....

    Well they probably want time to perfect it and everything.
    During Mikes last radio interview he was in Newport surfing wasnt he?
    Ed's solo touring right now
    and Mike is gonna have Flight To Mars (considering sneaking in that show looks frikkin awesome!)

    It seems like they have put the album on a hold. Also they all have kids now dont they?
    They probably won't release it until really late this year or next year
    I don't want them to rush it either

    Im sure they are all on break from working on the album. So its great that he is going to tour instead of surfing. When the album is done, they will def tour. Now we get the best of both worlds. Its not like Vedder said, "sorry guys, fuck the album for now, im going to go on tour. Talk to you when I get back. Peace". :lol:

    I bet a million to one that the album is finished and is off to be mastered w/BOB. Album will drop mid/late summer with a tour expected early fall. Can't wait.

    if my memory is correct.........14 songs were in the works, with about half being fully done. I have never seen anything saying 14 songs (the entire album) were done.

    Did you read the tweet on the board here? Everybody knew this was going to be a small EV solo tour.

    yeah, it's probably still in production and it wasn't planned for release until later in the year..they have said that they trust O'Brien with their music, so they're prolly taking a break from it...and the tour wasn't going to be until later as well....no big deal. It's their band and they will do what they will do...no need to worry....

    They all have their own projects now, so it will never be that quick for albums to be released ever again. Every one of them are into other things, so they aren't just concentrating on just PJ like earlier on.
