So what times does everyone think we're gonna get the tour announcement today?

    Been to this many PJ shows: Reading 2006 London 2007 Manchester & London 2009 Dublin, Belfast, London, Nijmegen & Berlin 2010 Manchester 1 & Manchester 2 2012...

    ... and I still think Drive-By Truckers are better.

    It's an 8 hour time difference between the UK and Seattle :D

    Edit: so that would be 12 noon PDT or 20:00 your time according to Lukinfan's guess :D

    I think about 1pm EST and 4pm out west. I hope its earlier, the suspense is just too much.

    Don't you mean 10am out west? That was my guess like with most poster sales, 1pm east, 10am west.

    Times like this are when it sucks this band is a west coast one. Means I have to wait until late in the day for news.
    Oh well, at least all their shows are played in the east. :)

    is everyone talking about the EV solo tour, or are they really announcing a PJ tour today? my god i cant wait for this tour to go down!! :o

    My guess, based on whenever anything like the Into the Wild vinyl went on-sale is that it will be 1 o'clock PST and 4 o'clock here. If that is the case today I will be one happy little jammer

    Pretty sure Ed's. if PJ is playing ACL they probably can't announce it until the same day as the festival announces their whole lineup.

    I thought announcements usually come after the usual poster sale time- earlier the better though :mrgreen:

    Darn! My boss is going to be in the office all day today. Hopefully he stays in his office so I can keep checking this message board for info...

    I am guessing the annoucement won't be made until 1 p.m. east coast time. :D

    If I recall right, for the 08 tour they were supposed to announce it and then postponed till the next day to get everything in order. Hope this doesn't happen again.

    You boss needs to embrace your obsession just like mine did - LOL!
    He lets me be on the board when something is coming down and purchasing tkts online is always ok, posters too, pretty much everything PJ related :)

    well, considering that we know the announcement is for an eV solo tour it would still cause quite a few people here to lose their marbles should the release of details be postponed until tomorrow,...

    It would be frustrating to say the least.

    Sounds like you have a really cool boss!! Mine is not cool. Plus my work computer, for some unknown reason, won't let me access the goods section, I can obviously get on the message board but not the goods section. So when tickets go on sale I need to *cough* *sneeze* be "sick".

    Do we think tickets are on sale today, or just the announcement with sales to follow, say later this week? I have a lot to do today.... but will sit at my desk all day and accomplish very little if I have to. :D

    I'm hoping it is just an annoucement. That would give me more time to make plans. I'm hoping to get to at least one eV show this time around...

    And im going to wait until I see Seattle, Wa on the list of dayes before I get too excited. Well its too late for that. I dont think that weird underground concert he did counts Im hoping Seattle gets some love.

    Agreed; Seattle needs a proper show; I hope he hits Boston or somewhere near again. I didn't go to any Ed shows last time because I just got back from 5 PJ shows and didn't want to hit the road again, but now I regret it.
