Here in Holden where I live, we have a pretty decent size Senior Center. I think they could play there

I think there's so many fan members now.. that if they did a fan show anywhere, there would be alot of resentment from those that didn't get in. I always figured thats why they haven't done them in a long time.

Especially if their bar/club shows... the tickets are so scarce, that feeling if know they were playing your home town and couldn't get in would make you go crazy :)

good fan club only show is at Jones Beach...every seat is a good seat and it's right on the water...like literally ON the water...

one thing about FCO tours is that some venues have season ticket holders, some venues forcibly make the ticket sales through ticket master or live nation which makes it gen pub, then of course you have the assholes who resell their tickets on stub hub for 1,000% above face value...and with it being considered a "Fan Club Only" show that gives reason to jack up prices to give non-members a feeling of being someplace exclusive, like a VIP...so in today's economy with technology and business practice, member only shows (or tour) just can't work...

    though it ould be awesome

I know it sounds shitty, but i'd love a 10c only show in Europe.
Been to this many PJ shows: Reading 2006 London 2007 Manchester & London 2009 Dublin, Belfast, London, Nijmegen & Berlin 2010 Manchester 1 & Manchester 2 2012...

... and I still think Drive-By Truckers are better.

Agreed. It'll be like the Astoria show with tickets going for 600 each, but maybe worse.
The only way a FCO show could work out is if they were really tight and only allowed one person in per fanclub number, that way no one can possibly sell their spare ticket on ebay. But that's a tad harsh and would never happen.

What would be cool is if on next tour- they broke it down in geographic areas, 1 show in Northeast for Fan clubs- Say Philly, 1 in midwest- Chicago or St Louis, 1 in South- maybe New Orleans, and 1 in West- Seattle. The you could do 1 or 2 in London or Rome, etc for Europue, and say 1 or 2 in Austrailia/New Zealand. Just designated dates thrown in with the rest.

I doubt they would fly across the world to play a total of like 8 shows. That wouldn't be very 'green'.

I agree with pjsteelerfan - a tour with for example, 2 dates in London - only one is 10c and the other is GA. Same in Italy, France, Scandinavia etc.

    That would be badass 8-)

JB isn't a dry venue...i go there all the time. they serve beer...

and if i am wrong, i've definitely seen beer inside the venue...so if that is the case then they are very loose on their restrictions

That's exactly how it was with me and the Vic show. I've never been so upset not to get tickets.

I say have 2 shows at the SPECTRUM in PHILLY 10 C MEMBERS ONLY. Let the classic arena go out with style!!

I heard Pierre Robert mention PJ playing the Spectrum On Air yesterday. He said he's been hearing rumors that they want to be one of the closing acts for this "classic arena" (prob. won't be fanclub only, no matter- ALL Philly shows are a *special* experience!) My first concert ever was at the spectrum 20some years ago (Beach Boys/Chicago) :-), seeing PJ there as my last Spectrum show would complete the circle beautifully...

With the amount of control that Ticketmaster and Live Nation now have over virtually every venue, this would be a tough thing to pull off. As it is right now, Pearl Jam has to fight pretty hard just to get the seats it does for us. I'll be curious to see how this whole thing plays out with TM/Live Nation and their broker business.
There's Pearl Jam, The Rolling Stones, Chuck Berry, Robert Johnson......and then everybody else.

One Fan Club only show (or multiple) in the northeast (Boston or New York), then one in the south (Atlanta), then one in the midwest (Chicago), then one in the Texas are (Dallas), then one in LA, then one at Red Rocks, CO. Finally, close it out in Seattle.

Actually, throw in Hawaii and Alaska too.

    Keep dreaming!!!

    ding ding ding
    we have a winner

very few venues that would allow all sales through the 10c
unless we paid the standard fees, which I guess is possible, but can you imagine the complaining about the prices?
The PJ shows will be close to $100 per ticket this time around.
