I had some goofy boot where the version of Deep had Ed going into Sting's Island of Souls but I cannot remember what it was nor where I have it. I remember thinking it was the coolest Deep version ever
I love these old boots....always have.... aussi dynamos, small club, brixton, children of novelty, luv n it! Here is a great site that lists alot of boots and their sources. <http://members.core.com/10/C7/ryan/pj/>
I really miss going to local shops and finding these things. I haven't seen them in years. Don't get me wrong. It's awesome that the band took the initiative to release their shows and perform quality control for us listeners, but I do miss that little rush when I would run across a soundboard quality show from the early years. Loved finding those early European shows where they were playing to 500 people.
I passed up the opportunity to buy the Den Haag show from early '92 once only to wind up immediately regretting it severely. It took me 3 or 4 years to find it again and when I did I jumped at the chance to pick it up (well before the internet, mind you). I paid about $25 for it but it was soundboard quality and a truly amazing performance to listen to. If you haven't listened to it, find it. You owe yourself the chance to hear a band going for broke and achieving it. Personally, I rank this show up there with Atlanta '94.
As a bonus, the copy I have has "Leash" listed as "Drop the Leaves" like I mentioned earlier in the thread. All part of the experience.

wasnt there one of these boots where I think one of Ed's brothers sings a song? I cant remember what but I have it on casette tape but cant find it nor have nothing to play it in. Maybe I made this up as I havent slept in a few days but if anyone has any input, I am an ear...

Not sure about his brother singing, but in the Den Haag show I have you hear eV invite his brother on stage to play bass during "I've Got a Feeling." From the sound of it he actually did. "thump. thump. thump. thump, etc..." Another reason why I love this show. Spontaneity you don't see any more.

Thanks. Yes, I remember Ed saying "that's...that's my little brother!". But I have a boot somewhere where I swear its a live song from the Den Haag timeframe that Ed's little bro sings a song...I gotta find that tape and find something to play it on or I will be scratching a letter into a wall made of stone very soon...

eV says "that's...that's my little brother!" at 3:53 into the song in the middle of a great improv jam. Stone launches into his classic riff at 5:13 and the pace picks up from there. Dave A is all over this towards the end.
Somewhere in some show I remember Mike and someone singing a line from Bohemian Rhapsody too. Hilarious. Not sure if it's in this show though.

I've got this one too. Amazing. This came out so long ago... I just don't understand where people got some of the material on here. I mean how do people get this leaked stuff to compile and put out?
Does yours have that hidden track of Bad Radio playing Better Man at the very end too?

Anyone out there have 2 old bootlegs that I'm looking for? I need one called "Barbaric Splender" from Tokyo Japan 1995. And one called "In The Land Of The Rising Sun" from Osaka Japan 1995. I'll be willing to trade or buy as long as they're the silver originals! Let me know guys! Thanks!!
Just a little X-mas list. I am looking for original copies of San Diego '95 or No Avail. I would also like Indian Summer. If possible Anxiety. Great night or Great Night at Great Woods. Last but not least Small Club and Randall's Island '96. Thank You.
